Cooler than you were last year | MFT stamps

THIS made me laugh this morning.  I'm guilty of buying things and they sit...and sit...waiting for me to ink them up.  I picked up a bunch of MFT goodies during the holidays and decided to do some llama masking to design a birthday card:

I did a smidge of masking on the Happy Llamadays set.  I teamed it up with the Frosty Friends set.  The Brrrthday sentiment is from Frosty Friends but the Cooler sentiment is from Twice the Wishes.

I recently picked up the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil.  I used the Stitched Scallop Edges to follow the sketch and build a snow bank.

I was inspired by this week's MFT Sketch challenge:

and their Birthday Project:

My colors were originally inspired by their color challenge but I opted to so yellow rather than kraft:

  2. Yay for using new goodies and llama masking! Love this, Amy!

  3. Llamas and snowmen...I love it! Your card is super cute.
I can so relate to having more goodies than time to actually play with the goodies. I'm hoping to use more of the stamps I have on hand this year. But it doesn't help when stamp companies continue to come out with more and more stuff that I just LOVE!

  4. your card is adorable.. awesome take on the sketch

  5. You pulled these sets together perfectly, amy… btw would those blender brushes turn even ME into a blender? or would they cause me to head to the blender in the kitchen?
