Hello! It's been over a week since I last posted. I've been busy with everyday life + my momma recently broke her collarbone. She's doing well, we discovered that she has a much higher pain tolerance than most of us. It took her 4 days after her fall to actually go to the doctor. What's with Mom's and not wanting to go to the doctor??!
I knew that I wanted to design a birthday card because today is my baby's birthday! She's 24 years old, how can that be?

Today I'm featuring Pretty Pink Posh's Cupcake Critters set. The yellow panel is Reverse Confetti's Buttercup cardstock. It's a smidge paler than the Mustard Seed Distress Oxide. You might not readily be able to tell that I inked the upper portion of the panel. The happy birthday sentiment has been heat embossed in white. I'm sure that one of my earliest die purchases from Pretty Pink Posh was their Scalloped Frames, such a classic.
I kept with my daughter's alma mater colors, University of Washington - Go Huskies, purple + 'gold'. I had to add an interactive element.
(chuckling) That lil guy is so cute! He reminds me of my youngest and I'm sure my girl will agree.
The interactive pull tab is from a retired MFT card kit. They do have another type in their shop that I've linked below.
I did want to do a shout out to Jennifer Timko and THIS post of hers. I picked up the Luminos and love it. I'm just set it up the other day and I'm still playing with it but the photos in this post were taken at 4 am...LOL. I do also use Picmonkey but the original photos were fabulous. Um yeah, I'm not quite ready to take a shot of my set up in my room because I'm going through another purge. I will though! I'm on the hunt for a new background, same but white so stay tuned. P.S. Jen has a discount code that she shares in her post, not sure if it is still active but give it a go! (edited to add: I received confirmation from a fellow blogger that she used the discount code last night and it is still active!)
