A bunch of us on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team are celebrating International Tea Day with a blog hop! You should have arrived here from the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, if not, you'll want to start there so you don't miss out on any of the fun.
I managed to make a total of 6 cards of 2 designs. These went out to some international friends. I realized that the holiday cards I had were all pretty bumpy.
Here's my first design. It features Paper Smooches:
Caffeinated
Winter Sampler
Sunnyville
Hot Concoctions
Cozy Coffee Dies
Gift Tags 2 Dies
This is my clean + crisp design. The base is a bit skinnier than a regular A2 and measures, 4 x 5 inches. I struggled keeping both of my designs postal friendly...no foam adhesives!
Buffalo plaid, please + thank you! The paper is from Echo Park and I think adds a touch of coziness to the cards.
The Hot Concoctions set has the tea bag and shadow that I used on the bottom of the to go cups. well, it is supposed to be for coffee but I used it as a shadow.
Love the stitched tags! You can't readily tell from the photos but the heart from the Cozy Coffee Die Set is also stitched. The bird is from Sunnyville.
Here's my layered version. I used most of the same supplies as my other card:
I replaced the Sunnyville bird with the sweet sun and cloud. This design is A2 size.
I did it, I managed to make them ALL postal friendly. No ribbon, No Twine, No Foam Dimensionals. WHEW!
Next up is my teamie Erin! In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing.
