This is how I was inspired:
Pretty literal...LOL. I took a panel of Stampin' Up Crushed Curry and used a nesting oval to get the start of the shape of the pear. Every snip was calculated and I wish I could be more free form.
The 'friend' die cut is by Simon Says Stamp.
