Did you hear? It's Avery Elle Week over on the Ellen Hutson LLC Blog! I'm starting off the week with some sweet inspiration.
I'm featuring the Avery Elle - Layered Cupcake for my projects. I had so much fun with this set, I don't know about you, but I love cupcakes.
My first card combines the Layered Cupcakes with the Peek-a-Boo Pals - Camp Wanna Stamp collaboration set by Avery Elle for Ellen Hutson LLC. That bunny was perfect for this project.

To keep things easier on me, I used the same ink colors for the cupcake.
I used the Essentials Rectangles and Essential Rectangles for Stitching. The sentiment is part of the coordinating dies for the Layered Cupcake set [Bonus!].

For this card I went for a more graphic look. The sentiment and the thin rectangular border have been inked up with the Catherine Pooler Designs Minted stamp pad.
I used cardstock strips by Concord & 9th:

When I got to this point on my card, I thought I was finished but it just didn't seem 'finished'.
Do you see the A2 Piercing panel on the center piece? I cut it on the diagonal. I think it adds the perfect amount of interest while still keeping to the graphic look.
