February Stock Your Stash | Reverse Confetti

I'm excited to be up on the Reverse Confetti blog today.  I'm sharing how I was inspired by the February Stock Your Stash Challenge!  I decided to combine the Multi-Step Cacti and Sketched Florals sets.

My overall color palette is:

Mist  |  Baby Blue  |  Navy Blue  |  Royal Purple

I've been enjoying making multiples of cards and to make things easier for me, I generally use the same overall design.  These follow the same guidelines but to add a bit of variety I used both landscape and portrait designs.

For added interest, I incorporated a couple Embossing Folders that have been in my stash.  The beauty of embossing folders is it adds to the design but still keeps the projects postal friendly.

Using different images from the Multi-Step Cacti set doesn't make it feel like a repetitive design to me.  I get easily bored when 'mass producing'.

The sentiments from the Sketched Florals set fit perfectly with the Stock Your Stash Challenge.

I pretty much have a hard time keeping real plants alive so these are the perfect plant projects for me!

I can't wait to see how you're inspired!

Awesome designs! So often - naturally and very understandably - we associate February primarily with the colour palette inherent to Valentine's Day, but there is a rather different one going on outside for many of us.

In so many corners of the globe, snow still reigns supreme and so a colour scheme based on cool, timeless shades of white and blue is no less at home this month than pinks and reds.
