simplicity...

Okay, I've been hoarding this very fun paper by Cosmo Cricket called Hello Sunshine. Isn't it just toooo fun and happy? I won it from Jennifer McGuire...yup, THEE Jennifer McGuire. This card is based on Laura's Sketch 18 on 2 Sketches 4 You. That butterfly is from Stampin' Up...I love it. I picked it up from the b/s/t board on Splitcoaststampers. It is circa 2000...9 years old. It is probably one of my oldest... I typically don't use yellow but love it when it is teamed up with black and pops of green...

Some sad news for you peeps that like
Domino Magazine....that would be me...I heart Domino Magazine...I subscribe to Domino...I also subscribe to Mary Engelbreit Home Companion which has also folded. Hmm....2 of my subscriptions...gone.

This is gorgeous, Amy! Love your color combo, and what you did with this sketch! I didn't like my effort nearly as much as I like this!

Sorry about your mags. The publishing industry is REALLY suffering. I wonder why they don't just go to congress and get bailed out? Did I say that out loud?

WHAT?! Home Companion folded?! I usually renew at Christmas for my mom and me, but didn't get around to it this year, now I feel so guilty. I still bought it off the rack though, man, so bummed out now!

But, back to your card, it's fabulous!! YOu really breathed some new life into that old butterfly! lol! Love everything you mixed together here, gorgeous work!

Very fresh and springy! I'm sorry your pubs folded. So MANY print publications are headed that way with the internet taking over...I think there will be a LOT more magazines stopping in the next year. Sad, huh? There are big changes with the Times and PI TOO! :(
Your card is absolutly gorgeous!! Love the shape of teh bottom ;-)

card is gorgeous! I just colored a little butterfly green yesterday. I kept thinking "is this legal, can butterflies be green?" sad to hear about the mags. I don't subscribe to these, but buy them both occasionally.
