Jenni Cupcake...

I've been neglecting my fabulous 4x4 Jenni Bowlin papers...how can anyone resist them? I teamed them up with an A Muse sentiment and that big cupcake is ala OBP/Just Johanna! Gotta love Laura's sketch #23 from 2 sketches 4 you...I've noticed that lately the sketches have really made me think about how I want to design my cards...not just slapping things together...that's a good thing. I always enjoy a good challenge!

I went on a little embellie splurge at J's the other day...I had a bunch of pom pom trim in my cart that I was only going to buy 1 yard of because those stinkers were $2.99/yard! Well, like I always do, I hit the clearance bin and picked up some other pom pom trim for $0.99/yard instead...this crochet lace was $1.49/yard...the cheapest I could find that wasn't crunchy, kwim? I had been wanting to make a J's run because of her and her....only fair that they've enabled me because I'm always getting "accused" of enable-ment..hahaha.

I don't know if you noticed but I dabbled some crystal effects on the cherries and of course, loaded up the scallops with some kaiser black bling-age.

  9. Hahahahaha!! Its me "her" and my "dingle berries" you should've written dingle berries in there. Yeah those dingle suckers are expensive I left with a $20 something bill after. But it's been worth it. No fair though our J's stinkin' clearance section doesnt have the .99c dingies. Love your card and the crocheted ribbon. I have to use mine again. talk to you later!!!

  10. oh how i wish i had a joannes closer than 5 hours away! i need me some pom poms. and yes, you are the enabling queen! Everytime I stop by here I spend the next half hour net shopping! but gratefully I can stop before actually getting out my credit card (almost always) So my bill isn't too outrageous! LOVE This cupcake card. Dig the crystal effect, the bumpy cupcake paper and that lace! so glad it isn't crunchy (i am still laughing at that!) ok, time to go before this becomes a novel... too late.
