Jenni Butterfly

Well, this is definitely a change of pace from my Cosmo Cricket cards for the week....

I unfortunately had to make a sympathy card. My friend's father passed away suddenly this week...totally unexpected...sigh. I wanted to make her a card that wasn't depressing so I decided to use Dawn's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #9 {dang, missed the deadline!} and team it up with Laura's sketch #28. I think that the pops of SU Wild Wasabi make it a cheerier card, what do you think? I so love the pattern paper by Jenni Bowlin and it pairs well with my crochet trim that I picked up from J's.

I turned the sketch on it's side...the Jenni Bowlin paper is actually 2 panels, the crochet trim ended up hiding that fact. Make sure you check out Dawn's Distressed Flowers 101 tut. I popped a wasabi panel on the interior with an A Muse stamped "in sympathy" sentiment....I just want her to know that I'm thinking of her....

Thanks for stoppin' by....
