just saying, "hi!"

Happy Wednesday!

I literally raced home on Tuesday after work so that I could take a pic of today's card...any feedback on the new pics in the window vs. the white background vs. the colorful background vs. outdoor photogs? LOL...bascially wanting to know whatcha think:)

Today is my take on CPS156.
I love tall cards but they are a bugger to photog...

I broke out the super TWEET...Have a Tweet Day by Schlosser Designs....more on that in a smidge...

Here ya go:

I gotta tell you...I had a BALL making this one. I used the sweet bird from the Schlosser Designs set and covered it with Martha Glue and Glitter...love that look! I added even more glitz by slapping on a snipped ZVA flourish. I popped PTI buttons and misc bling on the corners of the small rectangular panel. Hmmm...found that rub on among all my stuff on my work top...I'm guessing it is Stampin' Up...LOL...I LOVE
Pink Paislee...get it while you can over at Jacksonbelle...it is 30% off!!!!

Erin over at Schlosser Designs has come out with a Stamp It-Lite version of her sets...same great stamps but packaged in plastic instead of the hinged tin...free shipping and $2 less than the traditional tin stamp set! Hmmm....can't beat that!!!! Check it out...Erin is doing Design Team Spotlights over on the Schlosser Designs blog....if wanna know a smidge about me...check out my Q&A:) I'd be thrilled if you left me some blog love over there and take a peek at Erin's fabbie stamps and products!

Thanks soooo much for stoppin' by!!!!

Love the glittered up birdie! :)

A bit iffy on this window placement...something about the angle casts a dark shadow on the card...I like the colorful background better..

So darling! Love the spark-ily bird! I like the pics with natural light, but I know it's hard between October and now to do it without rain and clouds.

yup... this pic is a bit dark. YOu probably want to face the card towards the light so that the light hits off it :)
When you photograph the card in the outdoor, that was nice too :)

By the way, this card is nic :) Love it!

Aw! Cute, cute bird! I also like the flourish bling. It adds the perfect amount of bling!

Your photography skills are WAY better than mine, that's for sure! I really like outdoor shots but I know it's not always possible. I also like your colorful backgrounds, too! ♥♥ Kay

Love the glitter. About the photography, I've been looking at your blog for a while, and I do have to say that your cards seem more fun-and less serious- with a colorful or white background. But that's just my opinion and I'm not an expert. Could be the lighting too. I do think all your cards are great though, no matter how you choose to photograph them.

That is so pretty. you don't see many people do that color combo. Nice and rich. Gorgeous.

ryn: I don't know who makes that owl ribbon. It was given to me in a swap of scraps. lol

Hi Amy, congrats on getting the Moxie Fab mention for your Tuesday Trigger card!

I love the glittery bird on this card. Fabulous!

I love when you take pictures on your table outside. I'm always shooting at night, so I would rarely be able to do that.

Your card against the bright window does make the card look a little dark. Much better if it's photograph outside (although sometimes it can be hard). Card's beautiful though! I think I prefer it against a colourful/white background ... shows the card off perfectly.
