It's actually a 100% Prima card...patterned paper and all {obviously not the kraft card base though..}. I hope that you join us...I can't wait to see all of your creations!!!
Here's a Momma moment...
So yesterday was actually a gorgeous {although cold} day in the Pacific Northwest. The kids and I went out to lunch and {gulp} I took my girl out driving...as in...she got behind the wheel! She got her drivers permit last weekend and I haven't had the pleasure to go out with her since the kids spent this last week with their Dad for Spring Break. I needed a kidlet fix so I took them to lunch and my boy wanted to check out the new iPad. Well, after lunch and window shopping I found a large, fairly deserted parking lot to drive in. Poor girl has to majorly change up 3 mirrors and the seat...LOL.
Anywho's....she slowly lets off the break and we go coasting...keep in mind that she starts drivers school on Tuesday...no classes yet....Here's a snippet of one of our conversations:
Girl: All I know about driving I learned by watching Sponge Bob
Me: {insert thought bubble... "Sweet Mother of Pearl"....scary...on top of the fact that Sponge Bob is one of my least favorite kids show...it makes my eye twitch...the show, not her driving} OY
Girl: Sponge Bob didn't end up getting his license {or something to that effect...or is that affect?}.
Me: {insert another thought bubble...how can I be old enough to have a child that is driving...driving...} this is when I do my nervous laugh...
Well, she did a really good job...I was really proud of her. When we were all done the boy chirps up with a: "My Turn!"....yeah no, he is 12...

you're too cute! ahh the joys of teaching young ones to drive. i bet my parents were holding onto their seats...i used to think driving 10 mph in a parking lot was fast, haha ;p'.
have a wonderful sunday! *hugs* steph :)
Your girl is great and she's doing fine!
And the card....Oh, I just fell in love with it. Pure perfection. I love it very much!
You don't like Sponge Bob???? Why? He's the cutest little thing ever...gotta love his optimism! :)
Hope your gal enjoys driving! ;)

(I just dont get spongebob either!!!):)xxx

and your card is delightful, it is gorgeous!
But, the driving thing. I was ROFLMBO! My odest has been driving for 3 years...but Friday night was the first time in a long while that I was a passenger while he drove...it's STILL scary! My dd will get her permit in a year...one small tiny year...and I'll have TWO drivers! And my baby will be double digits this year!!!! How can that be when I a only...ahem....29!!!! Hang in there mommy! This too shall pass!
Oh, and about the driving-- nice job! You'll have to come help my daughter learn to drive too! lol
Hope you had a wonderful weekend, sweets!
