congrats...and a give-a-way!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend!!!

So do you have some fun plans lined up for the weekend or are you a lucky duck that gets to stay in their jammies all weekend long? Oh boy, I WISH that was me...but we're going to my niece's 6th birthday party today and I'm taking MY Momma out for dinner tonight.

I wanted to share a card that I made with some of my NSD buys and some things that I picked up when I was in Montana....

All the pattern paper on this puppy is Jenni Bowlin....the paper that I used on the Cutting Cafe Banner is from Jacksonbelle...it's from the sweet 4x4 packs...all the rest is what I picked up while in Montana last weekend...crazy colored card but it is all matchy matchy...the more colorful the more I likey:)

I made this card especially for my former co-worker that landed a new job...she's the one that I also made the Cozy Quilt card for...We all got together for lunch yesterday to celebrate a couple birthday's and her new job..

I was inspired by Laura's sketch 51:

A big "Woot Woot" for the new 2s4y Girls!!!! Especially for my bloggie friends, Kelly and Rose!!!

I've been having fun embossing the chair from the Schlosser Designs Furnishing Fun set. Actually my girl was pretty pleased since I let her heat emboss it for me...This card also qualifies for the Moxie Three Cheer for Chairs Challenge. Last weekend I submitted a card that had an 'upholstered seat' this time I wanted to do something a smidge different so I inked up that sweet little A Muse Cupcake! I colored it up with copics and finished it off with some red bling!

Good grief, this is a chatty post....I mentioned a give-a-way...

Ok, I have not seen the new Jenni Bowlin here locally yet. But it's fab. I did order a bunch of Oct. Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket pads, and one Lilly Bee pad. Some arrived and some is on the way...so I may have to dig into that once I finish some G45 projects! woot woot. So happy you had a fun shopping trip!
