hiya!

Welcome to the Whimsy Haven Blog Hop!!!!

Remember that all the fun starts at the Whimsy Haven blog...you'll want to pop over and check out the Whimsy $1 Special:)

You should have hopped over here from the very fabbie Amy C's blog:

This week we're having fun with a sketch challenge!!!! Check out the great sketch by Amy C:

Here's my take on it...yup, I flipped it:

I love the "Gettin' Cozy" set...this time I paper pieced the chair with my Gmund cardstock...it has this wonderful embossed woodgrain on it...The kraft/black paper is Jillibean, the text and hiya are Jenni Bowlin. I stitched around the Jillibean cardbase with black thread...easy smeasy and would work for both a feminine and masculine card..bonus points:)

Well, I'm the end of the hop...I hope that you had fun!!!! Remember to link up your take on this week's sketch...I can't wait to see your card!!! Play along and you will have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Whimsy Haven store!

i like that it can be a boy or girl card, but i saw the "babies" right under the chair - i think it said "water babies" before, but i thought that could be a funny card to give a guy - it's like subliminal messaging. :)

Okay Amy, at first when I looked at this card, it looked like you cut a circle out of the front of the card and we could see the text paper on the inside of the card, with the chair coming through the circle window...okay, maybe it's my eyes. heehee.. But I love this comfy card and it does work for anyone! Great touch with the 'hiya'...love this!
