peace...

After Monday's fiasco of an evening commute...you can bet that I stayed home yesterday....crossing my fingers that things get better with the weather although if you'd ask my kids, they are totally digging the snow...hey, it's cool with me so long as I don't have to drive in the stuff...

Okay, okay...let's get to some craftiness....

I have soo many Christmas paper collections....I've been slinging out the Cosmo Goodness on a regular basis that my other sets are feeling a smidge neglected...

So here comes some Making Memories Noel goodness:

I know you all know that I ADORE mixing and matching collections....I assure you that I don't dress this way...  Although when the kidlets were younger, I use to LOVE to dress them in funky clothing..and the girl, the girl always had a hat and tights on...oh-those-were-the-days....

Why do I insist on making bumpy cards?  The USPS loves me...I bet the average cost of postage for each of my Christmas Cards is going to be $1.22....typing about the USPS...is it just me or does the person in line behind you always forget about the concept of personal space and bathing too?  This is probably why I always procrastinate going to the post office...grrrr...

Dontcha love that silvery glittery sprig?

I was inspired by the Card Patterns sketch...and my fabbie friend Sparks is the sponsor this week...

You all gotta know how I like making scenery cards...pssttt....I made a boo boo...the glorious thing about crafting is there is typically a fix for everything...especially when you have almost totally finished the card....at least all the stitching...check out all the stitching on this puppy and then I stamped the greeting crooked.....grrrrrr....hence the banner:)

The pink and green papers are Dear Lizzie...the red is Cosmo Cricket and the cardstock is Stampin' up Chocolate chip.

It seems like I took a break from color challenges but just recently started back playing with them...love the current Embellish Challenge...

I might just take Thanksgiving off from my blog...we'll see:)

As always...thanks for stoppin' by....

the reason 99% of the things i stamped are either on foam tape as little labels or paper-pieced is that i am CONSISTENTLY crooked and smudgey and would never even THINK of bravely stamping on my "almost done" card the way you soooooo intrepidly do--and GENERALLY it comes out perfectly! having said that, i ♥LOVE♥ the little flag sentiment and would never ever have guessed it was not the plan from the get-go! :)

Oh so beautiful cards! Don't point out your mistakes... one would never know it's not what you meant to do. You can still dress your girl in hats and tights as it is again stylish to do so. Happy Thanksgiving and keep the snow in the northwest {LOL}!

First off, gorgeous, gorgeous cards!!! You have an eye for mixing it up with PP....I'm jealous. Your comment about the PO made me giggle. Mine is similar. I feel most sorry for the workers there!
yeah, I would so want to avoid that commute in icky weather! I don't blame you one bit. As kids we love the snow, not so much when we get older though. :-) Your cards are really cute as always Amy!

I see the Hallway has seen some excellent use! I'm busy baking and cooking so hope to grab a few minutes of crafting time this evening.

I adore the paper the first card and of cours both are just adorable...I so feel your pain about bumpy cards! I just mailed one yesterday that had to go in a plastic box. FYI - $1.39 no matter the box size.

Amy - these are all beautiful. I just marvel at the amount of craftiness you can pack into 1 blog post! Loving your MM card :)

I agree about the personal space, especially in the supermarket - either the person behind you is ramming you with their cart or so close they can see me enter the pin number for my atm card. Drives me nuts!!
