Jingle-y holiday cheer...

Happy Friday!!!!

Well, I'm back with my 'lil surprise...

I've been invited by the lovely Jingle Belles to be their guest this week!!!!!

Here's the fun twist, I'm their guest sketch artist!

Pretty fun to be on the 'other side' of things...those that know me know that I LOVE sketch challenges....so it's unusual for me to be the sketcher:)
Yup, it is definitely a clean & simple design...I've been drawn to this type of design for a bit now.  It has the potential to be loaded up with tons of different elements or you can  do a fairly CAS design, great for mass producing on those Christmas cards...

This is what I came up with...

The base is PTI kraft and all the other paper is Echo Park's Merry Christmas line...

The sentiment is by A Muse and the ornament is Hero Arts Magic of Christmas...Do you see it...the glitter...the traditional kind {for those of you that missed my glitter haz mat post, read THIS}...I did a thin line of Martha's silver glitter above the ornament...an unexpected pop of  glitz...

I can't wait to see what the Jingle Belles did with the sketch and what YOU do with it...so what are you waiting for?  No excuses, it really is an easy smeasy sketch....

A big shout out to Lauren and Stephanie for inviting me to play with them....I'm proud to announce that I've been keeping up with the weekly challenges and will oh-so-be-enjoying my relaxing month of December this year...thanks ladies for starting this wonderful challenge site!!!  I also wanted to give a high five to all the other gals that play along...you all are such an inspiring group of paper artists...if you haven't had a chance to play, you really should jump in...you'll have a fab time!

I am so far behind commenting this week. Where has the week gone? I can now see where your ideas went with this sketch! I have been seeing your sketch on others blogs. Love your design and your card!
Amy...your sketch is so super fun! And I adore your card. Just flat-out adore it. Your paper choice (as always!) is awesome and that little teeny strip of glitter just adds that extra bit of pizzaz! Beautiful!
Amy, thanks for an easy sketch! THat's why I was able to make my pink and green Christmas card so fast. THanks for the comment, too. :D
