What do YOU dream about?


Oh boy, do I have a long list of "If I won the lottery...."  The funny thing is...I don't buy lottery tickets:)  BUT, I think it is fun to dream anyways...

This card is a pub reject...although I haven't had much recent luck in the pub subs, it doesn't stop me from trying when I have the time..that is really the thing for me, the time.  

I was frantically working on a project for today's post when I just had to step away and say, I can't do it...I don't have the time...that's a huge step for me.  So it sits on my work top and yes, I will finish...but when I'm not feeling so rushed...I hate that feeling and it zaps the fun out of creating for me.

I'm a huge fan of my Compendium quotes that get emailed to me....this one was especially fantabulously timed for me:

Dontcha love that?  I think as women, mothers, daughters, paper artists...we tend to pile too much on our "To Do" plate...we all need to step back and take a deep breath every once and awhile...

I hear you Amy - time pressure does nothing for the crafty mojo or the stress levels. Walking away and taking a breather is hard but necessary for our sanity!

I LOVE this card! That MME cloud paper is so happy. I love how you used it here. I can not imagine this not being picked up.

Love it Amy! Like you I haven't had much pub luck, nor have I put in as many as I used do. Funny thing is lately I have enjoyed my scrapping time so much better... just scrapping/cardmaking for me... not so many DT or pub calls - less pressure!

First of all, I LOVE your card! So fun & cheerful! And I am like you...love to dream, yet never buy lottery tickets! :D

I agree about piling too much on your plate. I have made the commitment this year to pub calls, which means a little less playing along with challenges & less to show on the blog. BUT something had to give, & I really wanted to focus on getting published this year. So far, so good... :)

I totally agree with that quote. I think I have been pausing too much lately. Time for me to get crackin'. Time is a big issue for me. Either I have time to create or comment. I try to find a fine line for both...but it isn't going so well. One or the other suffer.

first of all amy---i dunno how you do it. blogging everyday with a card or 2 or 3 to post each day. plus working and being a mom to 2 kiddos! you amaze with that alone! not to mention you 'get around' in bloggy world leaving so many of us sweet comments!

i love that banner card though! why they didn't pick it up is their loss :)
