So, remember my actual doggy bag that I posted earlier?
Well, this is what is going inside that doggy bag:
On the left side is an embellished Theo Chocolate bar. It's a local chocolatier. How about that fun tag? The sentiment is by Paper Smooches....the paper and chippie are Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg line. Can you spot the upcycled supply? The 'road' below the chippie is from a Starbucks coffee cup sleeve...I might have a huge stash of those puppies...just sayin'. All that fun ribbon is made by my bloggie buddie Sherry!!
Here's the entire set:
I had loads of fun putting this together...hope that you'll play along with us over at LESSology! Remember, you have until 11:59 pm EST tonight!!!!
I wanted to share some Garage Sale pics from yesterday...
I had a ton of stuff to sell...I got alotta these kind of comments:
Do you have a store?
Are you closing your shop?
Do you sell stamps?
You must have a ton of money invested in your hobby.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
I had a pretty good turn out...I even had several gals that were repeat customers! LOL...I had 3 sales last year:) I averaged over $100/hour...not too shabby...we just won't discuss how much the retail value of everything would have been....you'd think my garage would be empty, but it isn't even close to being empty! Grrrr...I think that stuff multiplied...so I'm planning on having at least 2 more sales before Thanksgiving....as I add more stash to the pile.
Last thing I wanted to share and then I gotta get choppin' on several DT assignments {yes, I'm real time bloggin'}....
I finally broke down and ordered new biz cards:
The very wonderful Karen Baker was hugely helpful on this project...yes, it is my bloggie banner that Karen designed. I bought the cards {notice the rounded corners?} at Moo. Love those guys...they crank out quality stuff...I'm never disappointed.
Okay peeps...gotta hop!
Comments
OMG...not sure I took you quite seriously enough when you told me you were a shopaholic...LOL...WOW...that is A LOT of stuff! If I lived closer, I'd be there in a second ;)
Now that is a lot of garage sale stuff and reminds me of all the stuff I am staring at getting ready for the same thing.
Love the business cards. Would love to see one in person.
so exciting to look forward all the sales..I wish I were there..you shld take more pictures and share with us..
hope you bring back with emptied basket with good sales..!! woot woot!!!
I think the stuff you have for sale is what I actually have....lol
Glad your sale went well on Saturday. It does feel good to clean house some, doesn't it?
Thanks for sharing your yard sale photos - I can relate to your comment about the 'actual retail value', etc....good to know we are not alone, we cardmaking supply hoarders!
