Okay, peeps...this is my last posting for the day...I'm waiting for one kid to get home and take another kid to a party...then we're having sushi!
So my boy is going to a birthday party for a gal friend...
I had a totally different card in my mind, but one thing led to another and BAM...hey, this card isn't shabby chic!
Insert Note: I know, I'm no shabby chic girl but I was trying to make a shabby chic card based on the pretty invite that the boy received.
BUT, one thing I do need to mention here is that I'm trying really hard to dehoard...I keep stuff because I love it...what the heck? So yes, I used that fun AC cupcake and the cork? I've had it for awhile...it's Stampin' Up and imagine how pleased I was that it cuts like butter...
The birthday sentiment....sigh....by EAD Designs that will be closing their doors at the end of the month.
All the paper is ala Ellen Hutson...it's Lily Bee's Buttercup Collection! How can anyone resist that color combo?
It only seemed fitting to give this wonderful sketch from Ellen Hutson's blog a go:
I'm also posting this over on the Paper Issues Facebook page...oh my, my non-crafting FB friends are probably not digging all my gazillion WCMD posts:)
Okay, off to get some stuff done but I'll be crafting into the evening since I took a most fabulous nap earlier:)

You made me laugh with your comment about keeping things because you like them, I'm the same. And every time I give away one of my beloved cards, I feel the same, LOL! But if I didn't use all my "stuff" and give away all my cards, I'd be drowning in paper and sparkly things!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Martha
