little card...BIG thanks

Hello!

My weekend hasn't been very crafty productive....I spent 3.5 hours at Impress' Stamp night and managed to make 1 card:

3.5 hours people.

I'm not very good as a mobile crafter:)

All the American Crafts Soho Garden goodness is from Paper Issues!

Remember to use code Amy12 for 20% off your order!!!!

My card was loosely inspired by the latest retrosketches:

I finally inked up one of my new CAS-ual Fridays stamp

This card is going to a fab friend of mine that coordinated a job shadow for my girl last Friday.  It was with a Seattle biotech company:

She spend 4 hours with 2 different Research Assistants.  It's such a rewarding graduation requirement...super proud of my girl:)

At least you got ONE card out of your 3.5 hours, LOL! And what a gorgeous card it is. Bright and cheerful! I'm not a very good mobile stamper either. I am fully capable of spending five hours or so with my crafty friends and being lucky to come away with one card. :-)

Hey, it's a pretty awesome card! Love the yellow flower - looks like it's fringed or maybe pleated? Totally cool :) And I can't mobile craft to save my life...at least not on paper. I can crochet in the car, since I don't drive :)

Love your card. The papers, the flowers. LOVE IT!
I have to agree with you, I am not a very good mobile crafter either unless it is at a retreat where you check in for more than the night.
So pretty love the patterns and colors!!!

Do love the card you did! Such a great mix of goodies, and I love the bold colors against the kraft. Awesome sentiment! Really love the different flowers, too. Adds such great visual texture.

I don't think I could get any work done at Impress either! It is a lovely card though!

BTW, girls in lab coats rock! (I wear one every day;)

LOL! Somehow I think there was a lot of chatting and less card making! Very cute card, though! :)

The dp you used on your card is SUPER pretty. I like the dramatic dark background of it, and the way you used it on your card.

Really love this one ... it's just so HAPPY. I hear you on not being a "mobile crafter" I can't get ANYTHING done when I'm with others. Unless it's something I've already thought of and I need to mass produce it, like invitations or Christmas cards. Then I'm OK.

Amy - I LOVE this card! I'm so glad you got some CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and got to ink em' up already! And don't worry, sometimes it takes me that long to make a card BY MYSELF! We don't have a single stamp or scrapbooking store here, so I don't get to go to crops. Crazy, in a city with a million people... :(
Anyway, love your card, as always!
