Coffee Loving Cardmakers + CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Collaboration Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Collaboration Hop for CAS-ual Fridays and Coffee Loving Cardmakers!  You should have arrived here from the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the CAS-ual Fridays blog.

I have two projects to share with you today so let's get started:

Let's start with my clean + crisp card!  I colored some modeling paste with a dark brown reinker and used a coffee bean stencil that I had in my stash.  I set it aside to dry while I worked on the other elements of my design.

I adore the Coffee Cup Fri-Dies!  Isn't it fun and perfect size to be able to fit a fun sentiment.    The beans sentiment is from the Hot Coffee stamp set.

My next card features the same Coffee Cup Fri-Dies.

I used my Rose Gold embossing powder for the sentiment from the Coffee Talk sentiment set.  I managed to also heat emboss a bit of a splash image from a set in my stash.  I made my own pattern paper by using strips of card stock. Do you see the bit of Rose Gold glitter cardstock?

My card was inspired by CFC210:

and the CAS18 Challenge:

Next up on the hop is Erin!  If you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing!

Remember to leave comments along the way to win one of three $25 Gift Certificates to CAS-ual Friday Stamps!  Commenting to close on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:55 pm pacific.  Winners to be posted on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps + Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog on Saturday, October 27th.

CAS-ual Fridays: Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 1 - post 2

Hello!  This is my second hop post for today!  I was so thrilled when Michele Gross of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps reached out to me about a super special release just for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Here's how I played with Peace, Love & Coffee:

I love it when designers stamp out multiple images in multiple inks....think ---> May Sukyong Park.  This is a true one layer card.  I gotta tell you, I don't do those much even though I do consider my style Clean + Simple.  You'll see me dabbling with this technique more.  So many of my holiday cards are super bumpy.  I need to make more postal friendly designs!

This set is a CAS-ual Fridays web exclusive that you can only find at CAS-ual Fridays and it will retail for $7.50 BUT for the duration of the hop it will be just $5 no code needed, while supplies last!

Please visit the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog for more info + inspiration.  So thrilled to have them as one of our Super Sponsors!

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® : Happy January

I'm up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog with a card but I actually made another one especially for my blog today!  I'm really good at making coffee cards but I stink at designing Birthday cards so I'm trying to get a good start on this years birthday's:

One theme I think that never goes out of style is nautical.  So here's a peek at my supplies:

I use my E-Z Runner Grand on all of my projects.  It's a great size, not too big but it certainly doesn't get lost in my (cough cough) piles of goodness on my desk top.  The biggest selling point on it is that the refills literally just drop in.  See the  Dual Tip Glue Pen?  It works fantastic on paper and photo crafts and it has a great fine tip which I used on the anchor wood veneer.

Honestly, I love the word Shenanigans.  CAS-ual Fridays has the best sentiment stamps!

I have another Celebration card up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog!  Here's a peek at some of the supplies I used on that one:

And that yummy prize is...

Here's how I was inspired:

I combined the border stamps from Rad with a sentiment from Big Thanks.

I heat embossed the border in Zing White.

Summer Hearts?  That instantly made me think of Chickaniddy Crafts Enamel Hearts!  I'm super guilty of hoarding those lovelies so I'm glad I was able to incorporate it into my skinny card.

I can't wait to see how you're inspired!

Make The Day Special Stamp Store is an online retail store which specialises in importing quality craft products from the USA from companies we see regularly in stamping and crafting magazines and blogs but which aren't widely stocked within the UK.  Our aim is to stock all the brands you lust after but don't want to pay the huge shipping and import duty costs for!  By doing that on your behalf and ordering in bulk we can make it easier for you to buy the brands you want at competitive prices.
The store was originally set up in 2009 by a fellow crafter who found herself unable to get the US stamps she saw easily in the UK.  The store has changed owners a couple of times but has always been owned by crafters who do what you do so know what you want.  The store underwent a change of ownership again in January 2014 and my aim now is to grow the store and the brands we carry so we will be THE leading store in the UK and Europe for top quality US stamp, die and craft brands with customer service to match.
Together with an awesome Design Team that showcase the products we sell via our blog, Facebook page and YouTube channel, we aim to bring the best of the USA straight to your doorstep with just a click of a mouse.

Okay, I don't know many people that think masculine cards are easy smeasy to design!  I'm definitely included in that population.

Here's how I was inspired:

I've really stepped away from ribbon so that was an added challenge for me.

Love working with the papers from the Simon Says Stamp kit!

I used one of my FAVorite CAS-ual Fridays sets:

How are you inspired by the challenge?

Poppy Sketches #4: hello. my friend

This is post 2 of 2 for me today...click HERE for the Top Dog Dies/The Twinery Blog Hop!

Hello & Happy Monday!

We're back with a new challenge over at

Our Super Sponsor is

I played with

and the coordinating

Here's how I was inspired:

I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and stitched down the vellum strip with gold thread.

The Fri-Dies are awesome and cut so clean and crisp.  I bought some scrapbooking paper in the Target $ spot and sadly it is SUPER thin.  Check out how wonderful those blooms look.  The dies work beautifully.

My patterned panel is from the My Minds Eye Market Street Collection.  I used the Nob Hill paper pad.  The enamel centers of the bloom are also from My Minds Eye.

I can't wait to see how the challenge inspires you!
