have a cozy christmas

Good Morning!

I case'd myself on this one:

cardstock:  recollections paper:  crate  stamps:  a muse  ink:  fresh ink/charcoal  other:  pretty pink posh die, savvy stamps/deer head die

This version was definitely not as messy.

Here's the funny thing, I finally made the resolution to sell all my vintage a●muse wood mounts stamps.  I have them on my desk as a display in a black wire basket but I don't use them...or I didn't until I needed a petite sentiment.

Of course now I need to re-think that whole decision.

My card was inspired by

I super LOVE everything about the inspiration photo!

dark wood grain
pops of white
bits of gray/silver

Gathering today with some crafty friends to go check out some Christmas Ships & Coffee Shops!

Love your CASE'd CAS card! I can't seem to part with my old stamps either.
LOL! I love that you CASED yourself! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! FUN and CAS!

As for the issue of wanting to get rid of some stamps... and then needing one... I totally understand! It happens all the time-- you get rid of something and then need it the next day! LOL!

Very cute. I have that same stamp but forgot about it. I like the peek at your stamp storage. Any chance you'd share more photos of that? I've yet to come up with a way to store my stamps that really works for me. Thanks! Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Love that you CASE'd yo-self! And you went CAS on it, too! I'm a big fan of that Savvy stag's head, and I never thought of using the negative portion. Duh!

This card is absolutely beautiful in its simplicity. Love it! I had to smile about your selling comment. I've had a few things set aside in a box for a year or more to give away/sell and in the last month I've reached for something in there at least two times...go figure. I hope you have very merry Christmas, Amy! You have certainly made my year more merry...I appreciate your visits so much!

You know Amy, we buy stamps for a reason and then when we sell them we wish we had one back because we realize what we needed them for...best advice, make a point to go through the basket once a month and use at least one! Love your cased card! Happy Sunday!

Brilliant CASE of yourself!! That deer die-cut is so gorgeous and can see it being used all thru the year. The woodgrain is perfect for the inspiration photo too. Hold on to your stamps for a bit longer, you might be inspired to use them all again in the New Year......
