I'm soooo excited to be a part of the SugarPea Designs
1st Birthday Bash Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from my fabulous friend Isha's blog! If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the SugarPea Designs Blog! I'll have the official hop listing available at the end of my blog post in case you get lost along the way!
SugarPea Designs is offering a $100 Gift Certificate to one lucky hopper that comments on all of the blogs in the hop...now how FABulous is that?!
Guess what?! This is also a Link Up blog hop where anyone can participate for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate by creating a birthday card and linking up on the SugarPea Design Blog post HERE.
Blog hop and LinkUp ends midnight, January 28th.
More good news, SugarPea Designs is also offering a coupon code:
BDAY01
Get10% off your entire purchase (valid until January 24th).
Today, I have a couple of cards using the SugarPea Designs set
and also
I don't know about you, but I think everyone loves to receive pretty mail on their birthday!
Something that I like to do is make shaker cards. It is with the intention that the recipient takes apart the card and upcycles the shaker contents:
cardbase: dcwv stamps: sugarpea designs/special delivery ink: zing black, ranger archival/jet black, copic marker other: paper source glassine envelope, freckled fawn washi, studio calico wood veneer, misc doily
Today's card contains various heart shaped wood veneer in a glassine envelope.
My second card uses the sweet SugarCuts:
cardstock: recollections white/110, stampin' up cherry cobbler stamps: sugarpea designs/special delivery ink: fresh ink charcoal, ranger archival/jet black other: sugarpea designs sugarcuts - special delivery accents other: impress gold washi
This tall skinny card was being photo shy. Do you see the difference in color between the stamped envelopes and the sentiment? The envelopes were stamped with Fresh Ink charcoal and the sentiment is Ranger Archival/Jet Black. I used the SugarCuts with Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler.
Can you see the smidge of gold washi behind the heart?
That's it for me...next on the hop is the super talented Dina Kowal!
