post 2 of 2 today...click here for my Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Three post
Happy Saturday!
Yup, that's me...Winnie & Walter's March Leading Lady...I'm thrilled with this awesome opportunity! I'll be up on the Winnie & Walter Blog every Saturday this month. I'll be sharing some special projects and you have a chance to win a $30 card just by leaving a comment. Aren't Julie & Shay awesome for letting me give away a gift card? I'll do a random draw after March 28th and the winner will be posted on the W&W blog. Guess what? I decided to match their $30 Gift card and offer another one here on my blog. Same rules apply, you leave comments on all my Leading Lady posts here on my blog for the month of March, every Saturday, and I'll draw a winner after March 28th.
I know, let's get to today's project, eh?!
I wanted to do a recurring theme, newsprint....I have a total of 3 projects up on the W&W blog but I'm giving you a sneak peek of one of them here.
Surprise, Surprise...it has something to do with coffee! Coffee + Cupcakes = Yes, Please!
cardstock: mft steel grey, papertrey ink vellum paper: crate stamps: winnie & walter/sugar rush & sparkle other: winnie & walter essentials: katharine cutaways/lulu fringe cutaway, divine twine, recollections white clothes pin, impress silver glitter washi, misc lavendar tissue paper, mini to-go cup
I used both tags in the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways set. I altered the larger tag by shortening it up to compliment the petite tag.
Using a Steel Gray cardstock for the petite tag, I white embossed the banner stick & cupcake from Sugar Rush. I wanted to make it look like a sparkler on the cupcake, so I used an image from the Sparkle set {which will be available later this year} and embossed it with a Stardust embossing powder. I smeared white ink on the grey tag and finished it off with a Happy Banner using a die from the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways set.
Now, onto the mini to-go cup...I used the Lulu Fringe Cutaway with grey cardstock and lavender tissue paper. Around the top of the cup I used silver glittery washi tape.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #300
Winnie & Walter are a Sponsor for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!
That's it for me today!
Remember, I'm going to be giving away a $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card {I'm matching Julie & Shay's!}. It'll work the same way, leave comments on the Winnie & Walter Saturday posts here my personal blog for the month of March and I'll do a random draw for one lucky winner!
You'll want to pop over to the Winnie & Walter blog to check out all my projects and to leave a comment to be eligible for a $30 Winnie & Walter Gift card (thanks Julie & Shay!) give-a-way! I'm going to do a random draw on the comments that are left on the Saturday Leading Lady posts on the Winnie & Walter blog!

I've been a fan of yours for ages and it is WONDERFUL getting to know you better - so excited to learn that you're in the scientific field - I'm a "science geek" too and like you, I LOVE to craft with the support of my wonderful partner & best friend :) ... little did I know that I would be so reliant on scientific research to develop innovative medications for Rheumatoid Arthritis.
LOVE your cards and tag - your inking on the confetti pieces of your CHEERY HAPPY card is GORGEOUS, SO CLEVER how you used the negative as a stencil on your PRETTY THANKS card and your tag has the PERFECT amount of SPARKLE & GORGEOUS colour combo!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION, looking forward to next Saturday so see what Winnie & Walter have inspired you to create :)
Hugs,
Debbie, DT Sweetie
