Hello and Happy Sunday! Today is my baby's 18th birthday...more on that in a smidge. I wanted to share a quick card that I made:
cardstock: recollections 110 white, ranger watercolor paper: create a smile/sending sunshine kit stamps: create a smile/uplifting ink: ranger archival black other: mama elephant/basic set creative cuts, kuretake gansai tambi
I'm trying to do a massive catch up on all the goodies that I have. This summer has been extremely busy!!!! This cutie pie card is going into my stash for the kids...happy mail is always welcome, especially for a college student.
Isn't that chicken freakin' adorable? She's a part of the Create a Smile - Uplifting set. Did you know that selected Create a Smile stamps/cool cuts are available in the states from Butterfly Reflections Ink?! << ----- Butterfly Reflections Ink is having a storewide sale that ends TODAY...use code: CATWAWAY15 to receive 15% off your shopping cart TODAY!
I colored that fun chicken with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi's....really been enjoying those watercolors...a lot. I have her popped up on Scotch mounting tape...if you follow me on FB, you would have seen one of my newest purchases:
This puppy is huge...like the size of a pizza...LOL. It always makes me chuckle when I see it and of course, AFTER I ordered it I found another pkg of mounting tape in my stash. Oh well, a girl can never have enough adhesive.
Isn't it adorable?!!!!! I love fruit images...I could easily become a fruitatarian...love the stuff and probably have way too much of it on a daily basis. You wanna hear something funny? Originally I was going to do a citrus version of this...but then when I spotted that CAS Chicken image WITH the banner...I decided to go with it!
I was inspired by:
- die cut center panel
- the sentiment in a banner
- red
It seems like I haven't played along with many challenges so I was happy to squeeze this one in before we left for Vancouver, BC on Saturday morning! We went up to spend one night, just me and the kids. It was in celebration of my boy's 18th birthday, which is today!
I'll be the first to say that I can't believe he's 18 already. He's worked so hard through high school that I'm so excited that he's going to school in NYC <-- I am excited, really {wink}...but he's also my baby and he always be if he's 18 or 68.

That's it for me today...I'm sure that I'll crash when we get home from our short trip....tomorrow is a work day for me!
