Ashley Nguyen Newell reached out to me about a hop that she was putting together for Ann Cox and her family. Read THIS for more information. I met Ann in bloggie land, I can't remember where but I'm sure it was through a card challenge. My heart goes out to her as she helps her hubby recover from triple bypass along with kidney issues, all while working as a teacher and being a Momma to their sweet boy, Liam. This hop is to benefit the Cox Family and help raise funds.
You should have hopped here from the Spectacular Tenia Nelson's blog! If not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is Ashley's blog! In case you get lost along the way, the master hop list is on Ashley's blog!
There are some FABulous sponsors:
Okay, how about a card?! I knew I wanted to do a floral design with cheery colors:
Thanks to the MISTI, I was able to ink up the watercolor panel up! Do you see the pale aqua in the background? The blooms are the new Hero Arts Just For You by Lia. The sentiment is from the new Hero Arts Dare To Dream set. I colored the blooms with my Zig Clean Color Markers. This is perfect for the Hero Arts February Challenge: Fabulous Flowers
I've decided to do a $30 Hero Arts Gift Certificate giveaway! To be eligible:
- Comment on all the blogs participating in the hop
- Extra entry: Create a card (theme: encouragement/support) and send it to me to send to Ann*
- Extra entry: donate to The Cox Family GoFundMe
Giveaway open until February 27th (donations need to be completed and mail received by me). That gives the people who want to send cards time to get them designed and sent out to me. Please email me for my snail mail ---> see side bar.
* CAS-ual Fridays is not only a Sponsor for the Hop but they've also created an inlinkz so that you can link up your cards that you design especially for the Cox Family!
