Hello and Happy Friday! I'm so thrilled to be one of the October Guests over at Concord & 9th!
Check out their new products:
Today I'm featuring the new Cozy Up stamps & dies:
Cozy Up is a fun winter set where the sentiments build upon each other!
They sell it bundled with the stamps + dies too:
Here's how it inspired me:
I just knew that I wanted to play that big 'ole heart and make it pop so I started off with a 'darker' text panel and heat embossed it in Hero Arts white. The amount of detail in that image is truly amazing! I didn't necessarily want to take away from that so I teamed it up with 2 clean + crisp coffee mugs (of course I did). They've been watercolored with Peacock Feather Distress Ink. The Cozy has been stamped with Versafine and to balance the design, I decided to add the black cardstock strip on the top.
Next up is an altered Starbucks Reusable Cup! I used the heart shaped die on birch paper. This paper is quite glorious and I hoard it ferociously. I just knew that it would look awesome die cut and stamped with the Cozy Up set...what do you think?
I knew better but I did do an experiment with heat embossing and it was a total fail. sigh. It made me sad to waste that much of the paper! So, I knew that Impress Fresh Inks work perfectly on wood surfaces. I took a portion of the heart stamp and loaded it up with Fresh Ink Pumpkin and stamped it on the bottom of the birch panel. Don't you LOVE the sentiment ---> that's my mantra💛 I love that you can mix + match the words/phrases...and the fonts = love.
That's it for me.....I'll be back again with some other projects using Concord & 9th's October Release. If you haven't popped over to their blog, I'd love it if you would...check out their post and say hello!
