How lucky am I that I've actually met up with Ruby a couple of time, these two were in NYC 2015 | 2016:
I've always been crafty but took the plunge when I signed up to be my son's co-op preschool scrapbook coordinator (he's now in his senior year of college). I was assured by the gal that had done it the prior year that it was a piece of cake, had I scrapbooked before that, um no.
Why do I create? It's a part of me and my life. I enjoy it so much, the process, the sharing but really, the community. I've made some fabulous friends during my journey and consider myself fortunate because of it. I would have never have met Ruby if I wasn't a crafter. I love how it connects people from all of the place. There's never a hesitation to meet another crafty person because we all have that crazy bond.
I knew exactly the stamps that I was going to use for today's projects. Perhaps you saw this on my Instagram?
I used two of the three sets:
Fall Friends | Autumn Gatherings
Let's chat about the card first. It features the two Hello Bluebird stamp sets. They are just too cute, aren't they? I teamed them up with the Simon Says Stamp Birch Tree Window. The cardstock is Ellen Hutson LLC - Essentials by Ellen - Slate.
Next up is a project featuring the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Tiny Shadow Box Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell.
I used the bunny from the Fall Friends stamp set and included the cloud. The pattern paper is from the Girl Squad paper pad. The shadow box is so cute, it comes with a bunch of different dies including the banners and the 'sunflower'.
The sentiments were perfect for today. I love it when I gather with my friends, it's always going to be fun. I'm grateful to know Ruby and love being a part of this awesome crafting community.
I had so much fun designing this duo and it is on it's way to Ruby💚
Next up is the amazing Mayline Jung! If you get lost along the way, the complete hop listing is HERE.
