World Space Week Blog Hop

We're celebrating World Space Week (WSW), an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition.  The UN declared in 1999 that WSW will be held each year from October 4 - 10.  Find out more on the official WSW page.  This blog hop is a part of the WSW 2018 Celebration and is listed as an event on an official WSW 2018 event list.

Here's my project that I designed especially for today's hop:

I used Reverse Confetti's Moon Men stamps and coordinating confetti cuts.  They've been stamped in black and colored with various copic markers.  See the background?  I'm a fan of the 'Smooshing Technique'.  I load up an acrylic block with distress oxide ink, one color at a time, starting with the darkest color first.  Spritz the ink with water and smoosh your panel into the ink.  I dry it between colors with my heat gun.

I finished off the panel with speckles of black + white Kuretake Gansai Tambi paint and Copper Peerless Paint.  My card measures at 4.25 x 4.25 inches.
