Coffee Date with Michele | Coffee Loving Cardmakers

I'm so excited to be up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog with the 2020 Edition of Coffee Date.  Do you remember the feature from last year?  We had such positive feedback that we brought it back this year.  I've invited my sweet, clever and very fun friend, Michele Ferguson.

Here are the details about our card inspiration:

Stamp set:  A Breve Note by Julie Ebersole, Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps

Die set:  Hands by Julie Ebersole, Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies

Color Inspiration:

 Here's how I was inspired:

Just a smidge of literal interpretation in terms of incorporating the colors.  I included a sentiment from the Voices in My Head by Julie Ebersole, Essentials by Ellen Clear stamps.  It's been stamped in Reverse Confetti Sand ink.

Why the literal interpretation?  This was my first card I made:

I totally forgot the color challenge for my card but still wanted to share it!  The grey cardstock is Ellen's Slate Gray 100 lb.  Such a pretty shade, right?  I teamed it up with some vintage 12x12 pattern paper.

The bit of felt makes me a happy crafter and is so me, I tend to have a pretty gray wardrobe.

Here's a of a sneak of Michele's BEAUTIFUL Project but you'll want to pop over to her blog for all the details and she's doing a giveaway!

I'm doing a bit of a giveaway too!  Here are the details:

In love with both of your cards! Awesome color palette for a coffee card. These hand dies are too much and are perfect for the cups...as well as flowers...shaking each others hands...gotta get me those dies! Great cards.

I love both of your cards! Smiled because I have certainly gotten swept into a project and have forgotten an element of the challenge or sketch that started the whole process! I love the little hands and especially the way they "hold" the coffee cups!
