Just a Note | Close to my Heart + Sheetload of Cards

Friday morning I was part of a Crafty Zoom that was hostessed by my friend Chris Franco.  The two hours went quick but I was able to whip together these nine cards:

Have you heard of Sheetload of Cards?  It's a genius concept of taking three 12x12's and a couple 8.5x11's, a card sketch and your stamp[s] of choice.  I'm hooked!  I'm so glad that Chris thought of  doing this Crafty Zoom.  I had squirrel away doing the Sheetload of Cards sometime this month but loved the extra nudge.

I had all the paper/cardstock cut prior to the zoom and finished up the cards with an additional time, under an hour.  If I had the overall design figured out prior to the zoom, that would have reduced my time.  Next time I'm going to try a design with less coloring.

Can you believe the paper I used is actually CTMH's Holly Jolly, a Christmas collection?  They retired it but I may have picked up a couple different packs.

The CTMH stamps I used:

Desserts a la Wirl
SOM - Cherishing Her

I love how these turned out, perfect for Galentine's Day!

Make sure to check out Chris' FB group page for other crafters sharing their Sheetload of Cards!

These are so sweet, Amy! Wouldn't have thought the papers were from a Christmas collection--so versatile!
Fabulous blend of patterns on these super charming cards, Amy. The scale of each (pattern) works together in perfect harmony.
