Wishing You | CTMH

I finally played with the CTMH Card Spinner Front.  I purchased it along with the 2 coordinating sets that were available at the time, Rainbow Wishes + I Chews You.  Today I'm featuring the Rainbow Wishes set:

I made this especially for the hubby, it was his birthday yesterday.  His favorite color is blue, well, specifically Navy so this is my kind of Navy LOL.  CTMH makes is super easy to put  this design together because the stamp set was designed for the Card Front Spinner.

The beauty of the Rainbow Wishes is it can easily coordinate to any palette you'd like.

I'll be experimenting with different colors but I'm super pleased with how this one turned out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Snowflakes | The Stamp Market

I really don't like to mass produce but lately I've been enjoying the process.  It's probably because I feel extra productive [wink].  These sets are a mashup of old and new:

Snowflake  |   The Stamp Market
Sentiments   |   Poppystamps
Tag   |   Reverse Confetti
Paper   |  CTMH

I need more winter | new years cards, crazy since we've already sent out 122 cards😳  My girl helped put together some of the green plaid ones.  It's been busy in our household, including a real tree this year, almost 8 feet tall!

We managed to add the lights but will wait for the boy to come home from NY to add the ornaments.  We just hope that his flight isn't delayed with the snowy conditions over there.

2019 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day Three

I'm back for Day Three of the 2019 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Today I'm featuring the Close to My Heart - Cedar & Pine collection:

I whipped up two scrappy cards, no stamping involved.  It's been awhile since I've done that.  This paper collection is so beautiful that I had a hard time covering up the lush patterns.

I've added the ribbon and glitter cardstock.

Check out some of the elements from the collection:

Guess what?!  CTMH just added the PERK UP stamps + coordinating thin cuts online!  That's GREAT news because it was only to be available through October 31st!  So glad that they decided to keep it in their shop, it's a FAB set!

Costume Parade | A Muse Studio

So I could probably make a bunch more Halloween themed cards, stamp sets that I haven't inked up this year but this will have to do it since Halloween is next week.  The other day I was able to whip up 7 cards in one session, thanks to A Muse Studio's Costume Parade:

I stamped the images twice and colored them up using the same copic color palette for each set:

R11
R14 | R24
YR04 | YR18
YG03 | YG05
V01 | V12
E40 | E43
E31 | E51
T0 | T2
N4 | N6

Because this particular A Muse Studio set didn't have any accompanying sentiments, I used a coupe other sets to finish off the cards.

These first two cards use the MFT Stitched Triple Peek a Boo Window.  This is a must have die, perfect to use with smaller images.  Both of the cards use Reverse Confetti's Fright Night paper which has unfortunately been retired.  Both of the sentiments are from the Jane's Doodles - Winnie Halloween.

My next trio feature the stamps with Simon Says Stamp's Birch Tree Window die.  Perfect for those cute guys.  The sentiments are from Pretty Pink Posh's Halloween Friends.  The paper that I used for the backgrounds are from CTMH Cats and Bats which has been retired.

 My final two designs.

The 10/31 sentiment, don't you love that?  It is from Jane's Doodles - Winnie Halloween.  The window is Pretty Pink Posh's Storybook 5.

My final card uses the MFT Stitched Triple Peek a Boo Window.  The pattern paper is CTMH Cats and Bats.  I thought it reminded me of a spider's web.  The sentiment is from Got Candy? by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen [retired].  The spider is Jane's Doodle's Winnie Halloween.

Whew!  There you have it.  I had so much fun putting these together and because of their clean and simple design didn't take too long to create.  The coloring is what took the longest.  Now the hard part, getting these actually out in the mail!  I made them for some kids, well, older kids.  LOL and grandmother's.

Love from Seattle | Impress Cards + Crafts

I haven't forgotten about my Woodblock Wednesday features.  I hope to be on a more regular schedule starting in October.  Today, I'm sharing a card that uses the fun Love From Seattle stamp by Impress:

I teamed it up with the Washington Sayings Clear set by Impress.  These are definite must haves for Washingtonians!

Although the polka strip looks like washi, it's actually a label strip from the CTMH Cats + Bats 12x12 paper collection.

I also used the Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness, another local Washingtonian based company!

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Perk Up Quad | Close to My Heart

Recently I received some happy mail from my Chris Franco who is also a CTMH Consultant.  Have you seen their new Perk Up set?!

This quad [Quad means four espresso shots] didn't take too long to design.  I used the same overall card design and concentrated on two different background panels.

First up is Happy Sweater Weather:

Let's chat about the Cats & Bats pattern paper and coordinating pocket cards that were on the CTMH clearance [sorry, they're sold out now] for only $5.  That star strip was the label part of the 12x12 paper.  I've managed to snag several awesome deals over the last couple of years.  Definitely worth it to watch that particular section on their site.  The coffee cup sleeve was stamped in a stone ink and I embellished it with a pumpkin brad that I had in my stash.  I've been enjoying adding teal to my fall color combo.

Here's a card for you cocoa fans:

That multi-colored strip is another 12x12 label strip.  I was happy to add the pop of green [my favorite color].  The sentiment worked well with the pre printed lines on the pocket card.

Next up is a Pumpkin Spice design:

I paper pieced the to go cup.  The web was a 4x6 pocket card.  This is the only card that has copic coloring and really it's just a smidge of coloring.

My final card is a latte design:

This is definitely my FAVORITE design but it is also the least postal friendly.  I adore all the texture on this one from the shaker style and the added cork sentiment strip.

I actually started off trying to design 4 postal friendly cards.  A horrible fail, I only ended up with one that is truly postal friendly.  That's okay, I don't mind slapping on more postage.

Get your PERK UP set today.  They are currently in their September - October 2019 catalog.

Have a sweet day!

Recently Doodlebugs was having a store wide sale so I picked up some Sunny Studio Stamps, both are Washington state based companies and I love to shop local💚

Love the Perfect Popsicles set!  I was inspired by Mendi's curved greeting.... The aqua circle is CTMH Prickly Pear collection.  I upcycled a Starbucks sleeve for the popsicle sticks :)

Donut know...

Happy Sunday!  Hope you are having a magnificent weekend!  Yesterday our crafty group got together and this is the Make 'n Take that I brought:

I was suppose to have it finished and ready on Friday but time got away from me so I whipped it up on Saturday morning :)  Thankfully I had a Close to My Heart - Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit.  Unfortunately, these are no long available but the stamps, dies and washi still are!

All the patterned paper, stamps + washi is CTMH but here are the inks I used:

sentiment:  Hero Arts Mulled Wine
donut:  Hero Arts Soft Vanilla, Fresh Ink Grapefruit + Hero Arts Tide Pool

My card was loosely inspired by THIS.

Close to My Heart - Bloom & Grow

Today wraps up my CTMH Online Party!  Thank you to all that placed an order!  I managed to whip up one last card using the March Stamp of the Month • Tea-rrific:

I found some fun inspiration in the CTMH Seasonal Expressions Catalog.  Oh and btw, all thin cut dies (and stamp/die bundles like that cute fox set!!) are on sale for 25%!!

Do you spy the Fern Thick Twine?  It adds such glorious textures, doesn't it?  Today's card uses the Simple Stories, Bloom & Grow collection.  I watercolored the tea cup with a pale blue.

I even decorated the front of the envelope with a paper pieced tea cup and an added gnome💚

If you spend $50+ on your CTMH order, you can throw in one of the Tea-rrific sets for only $5!

Here's the Fern Thick Twine:

Here are my earlier projects using the Tea-rrific set:

Did you see these products in the CTMH Shop:
