upcycled tin...

Today is the birthday of a gal at work.  When our office went through a mini-makeover she gave us this tin of Cavellini parisian magnets:
I, of course, saved that hinged tin and upcycled it for her birthday 'card':

This is chock full of a 'little bit of this...and a little bit of that".

Lily Bee paper
October Afternoon paper
Studio Calico Fabrips
Studio Calico Wood Veneer Star
Martha Glitter
A Muse Sentiment
Kaiser Bling

Here's a peek at the interior...I put some October Afternoon paper in like tissue paper, kwim?

I sewed a tab so that it would be easy to 'lift up'...finished it off with a PTI button and some Twinery goodness:

Here's the card...which is really a Taglet {tag/booklet}:

More of 'this and that'

October Afternoon paper
Hambly Woodgrain Overlay
Prima Bloom
Kaiser Craft Bling
Upcycled Swivel Clasp

The taglet is a great way to have plenty of room for co-workers to write up birthday wishes!

I'm crossing my fingers that she likes it...

Awesome gift, Amy! And way to upcycle. I'm so bad about collecting containers but usually don't get around to using them.
