happy birthday sunshine...

Happy Saturday!

I had a busy work week so I'm really looking forward to the weekend!

Sorry about the pic, I didn't use my tent and it's too dark outside to take a pic...

This lil card is chock full of fun:

I've been smitten with the vintage Stampin' Up Long Notes...particularly the ones in So Saffron.  They are 6 5/8 x 3 1/4.  I always seem to emboss a section of them too...did you notice that?

{Anyone have some in their stash that they wanna sell to me?!!!}

Everything has been loaded up on a Jenni Bowlin Journaling Card that has been matted on black cardstock.

I used 3 different stamp sets:

Lawn Fawn partly cloudy
Lawn Fawn sophie's sentiments

and

Green Grass Stamps You are my Sunshine

I did some fancy stamping with the sentiment as it is a combo of Lawn Fawn and Green Grass Stamps...the 'sunshine' is a partial from a Green Grass sentiment.

I'm still having fun with those A Muse Studio Clouds...and LOVE The Twinery's Maraschino!

I was inspired by the Lawnscaping Challenge #25!

They celebrated their 1 year mark on Monday...now how exciting is that?!

Any big plans for the weekend?  I'm looking forward to shopping with the girls today...although who knows how long I can last as I've been up since 2:30 am.

Love this - just what I needed to see to help me get through the rains of the north west right now.

I was chatting with Sparkle last night and she was telling me how close you live to each other! We'll have to meet up one day when I'm down south!

Super fun and another happy card, Amy. I love the dimension and textures. You rocked it :)

As for the burlap...I agree with you! I have only used it twice, but I discovered that my new Glue Arts ribbon adhesive works very well with burlap control and not being sticky all the way through the mesh...another issue I had besides the shedding :)
