I made this for a gal at work....


Her cat passed away...and I wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her....

I combined some October Afternoon with a Jenni Bowlin butterfly {I tell you, I never tire of those sweet butterflies!}.  The sentiment is a super old A Muse one that I must have picked up from someone...gotta love those vintage A Muse sentiments....I gotta because I have a gazillion of them..LOL.

I've been having a SWEET weekend...check out what posted on thee Basic Grey blog yesterday:

Funny story behind the card...it went to my girl for Girls' Day...so I had her look up the Basic Grey blog and the expression on her face?  priceless.

I'm also super thrilled because I've received a couple happy mails over the weekend...nothing to share yet but let's just say...they make me a happy crafter:)

As some would say "boo-ya!!!" way to Ms. Amy!!! That card was sure a cutie, it's no wonder you got featured by Basic Grey. Your thinking of you card today is also fab. I love everything about it! From the papers you chose to that little butterfly.

And to answer your question, ugh... Something (probably my brain) woke me up at 2am (3am) and I had a hard time falling back asleep until about 4:30. I was nothing in between. *shakes head* daylight savings and I are NOT friends
