I need a vaca from my vaca.

Friday and Saturday I'm doing a bunch of cleaning with crafting inbetween...it ALWAYS looks like a tornado has hit until I'm completely done which is hugely disappointing.

I super love the MFT Feather Die.  I kind of like it using a floral print....

I combined some Paper Smooches sentiments from the Chit Chat set.  Silly me, I thought that the paper Smooches Spark challenge was anything goes, that was last week's.  Oh well, I'm still glad I used the mixy matchy sentiment.

All the paper is from Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic.  That text panel photog's much darker than it is IRL:

I'm doing a major housing purge...it's an extremely huge project but little by little it is getting done.   I can't wait to drop off the bags and bags of clothing and other donations that I was able to clean out today!

Thanks for stoppin' by...

Good luck with your spring cleaning!!! I agree with the letter, it feels really good to toss unused old things.

Your card made me swoon, Amy! So pretty!
I should follow your example and start purging around here too. I still have unopened clothes boxes from the move to Bolivia and that was 8 months ago!
Hugs and happy weekend :)

That floral feather is such a great idea! I've been seeing feathers everywhere, but none of them floral. And, after a comment from my mom, and now your post, I will be throwing away our chipped and cracked plates this weekend. Maybe having no plates will motivate me to go out and buy some! I've had my eye on the Pottery Barn catering set for quite awhile now.

Fabulous card! My favorite detail is the stitching down the middle of the feather. I can totally relate to the cleaning/tornado scenario. We're going through the same thing here, but each bag that leaves the house either to the garbage or to be donated makes me happy enough to keep doing it. :)

The pattern & the stitching on that feather...completely awesome! I love it :)
About the purging...I always find I have to be in the right frame of mind to do it. Sometimes I try, and I end up seeing all the reasons I should keep that crap - and sometimes I can throw it all out/donate it without a second thought. My basement tells me that #1 is more common, lol. It's true, though - very liberating when you can get it done!
