Guest Designer: 12 Kits of Occasions

Post 2 of 2 for the HERE for my Your Next Stamp Guestie post

I'm thrilled to be a Guest Designer for The 12 Kits of Occasions!  The April kit, hostess -Tracey McNeely, designed the Crazy for Coffee kit.  How appropriate, eh?!  Thank you Tracey for asking me to share in the fun of your super awesome kit!

Here's a quick explanation of how the kits work HERE.  I follow many of the girls on the Design Team and it is absolutely amazing to see the different projects they design based on the same kit!!

The ingredients of the kit are HERE.  Let's get started, shall we?

I couldn't wait to make a shaker card when I saw the Pretty Pink Posh sequins!  I combined them with the Essentials by Ellen - Oh Frappe + All Inside stamps.  Gah, how cute is the bear holding the mondo coffee mug?!

Next up is the Lil Inkers Coffee Cozy die set with the Reverse Confetti Be a Barista sentiment!  That awesome coffee sleeve is made of cork, I love cork.  The PTI Aqua Mist base makes everything POP!

I wanted to incorporate an ABC project - anything but (a) card.  I love the kraft coffee bag and altered it with a tag!  The frap cup is from Essentials by Ellen - Oh Frappe and the sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's For the Love of Latte.

My tag was inspired by the current, Tag You're it Challenge:

Thanks to Tracey and all of the Design Team...I'm going to be able to make several more cards/projects over the next several weeks!  I can't wait to hop around and check out how everyone else was inspired!

Your Next Stamp: Guest Designer

post 1 of HERE for the 12 Kits of Occasions

Hello!  So happy to be guesting for Your Next Stamp for their exciting May Release!

I'm featuring the new Little Notes stamp set and coordinating dies!

Aren't you loving the clipboard?!  Check out how the die is a 3 hole punch too!  I've always been a fan of sun and clouds and love those guys' expressions♡

Make sure you pop over to the Your Next Stamp blog for all the new set previews!

Happy Birthday Kimberly

Big Birthday Wishes to Kimberly!!!!  She is the super star of our crafty group, she's our Make 'n Take Queen!  This girl is chock full of talent and has a gigantic heart of gold.  She loves color and is a great colorista.  I love color and love to watercolor.  My card took a completely different path than I originally planned but when I was surfing for some inspiration, THIS card of Jocelyn's inspired me.

I really am a clean + simple girl at heart.  I combined the following Hero Arts stamps:

Can you see the pale pink watercolor wash in the background?  I picked up a pad of the Studio Calico Classic at a garage sale a couple weekends ago, that's where the text panel is from.  My watercolor paper is by Strathmore.  Something that I NEVER do is incorporate my handwriting but I wanted to personalize her card.

I hope that you hop along with us!

DeNami Design: I need...

this is post 2 of 2 for HERE for my Hero Arts post.

Hello!  Today wraps up my guesting for DeNami Design!   For my final project I knew I wanted to do a coffee themed design:

Isn't the Cafe Clear Set so cute?  I did some quick masking and colored everything with my Zig Clean Color Markers.

A Big Shout out to Nami...thanks for having me!  I'd love it if you'd pop by the DeNami Design blog and say hello!

Hero Arts: Happy Birthday

post 1 of 2 for HERE for DeNami Design

Hello!  I'm up on the Hero Arts blog today!  I wanted to share 2 cards using the same stamp set..I'm sharing one here and you'll have to pop over to the Hero Arts blog to see my other card!

I'm featuring the Make a Wish Birthday stamp set:

A fun way to use a bunch of different images from the same stamp set is to load them onto a large acrylic block or a Misti to create a fun background.  All the images have been heat embossed in White.   I've added a couple enamel dots for pops of color.  My cardstock is:

I even stamped an envelope liner using the Green Apple Bold Ink.  I have a completely different style card up over on the Hero Arts blog, go check it out HERE.

Sprinkled with lots of fun!

Nothing says birthday like donuts with sprinkles!

I haven't playing the Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know in a while...mostly because I 'misplaced' the frosting die for the donut.  I tend to happily craft in a frenzy and when I 'clean up'...I evidently tend to put dies into the wrong sleeve.  Well, I recently found that frosting die and in celebration, made this donut card for a co-worker that will be celebrating a May birthday.

Love the Tag Me Too confetti cut!  I can't get enough of scallops!

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Happy Birthday Laura!

There's a group of us celebrating our sweet crafty friend, Laura!  We met at a Julie Ebersole's class at Impress.   I arrived a bit later than the other girls at the table and we stamped and chatted during the 2 classes.  All during class, I assumed Laura was Kimberly or Tonya's friend...haha...nope.  We instantly adopted Laura into our group♡  She is a super fabulous friend and I hope that she has a most wonderful birthday!

Here's a card that I made especially for Laura!

I combined the MFT Sweet Succulents set with Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid pad.   My black ink of choice?  Hero Arts Intense Black - it's waterproof and copic friendly!  I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to color everything.  I couldn't resist a strip of Recollections Gold Glitter cardstock.

My card was inspired by the MFT Sketch challenge:

We hope that you hop along with us!!!

Hero Arts: Dream Big

Hello!  Happy Friday!  I have a fun card to share today!  I've been lovin' the Hero Arts Color Layering sets.  Today, I'm sharing the Color Layering Goldfish.

I was so excited to combine the Goldfish with the Terrarium from the Stamp Your Own Succulents set.  I had to mask a smidge of his tail off but otherwise, he has a happy cozy home, eh?  I used the following Shadow Inks on the Goldfish:

I used a pale blue Zig Clean Color Marker to color in the water.  I added a couple Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets for his air bubbles :)

I used a sentiment from Kelly's Girl Talk Planner.

Hope you have an excellent day!

Right at Home: Mix & Match

Hello!  Happy Friday Eve!  I'm doing a version of Nicole's Mix & Match Challenge.  My twist is using a different manufacturer that she carries in the Right at Home Shop!  Here's how I was inspired:

I combined the new Color In Sentiments with MFT's Sweet Treats Die-namics!  Seriously, it's going to be an awesome day if there is ice cream involved!

sweet treats

We're breaking temp records here in the Pacific Northwest.  I think yesterday was Day 4 of consecutive 80+ degree weather!  Whew!  That's too hot for this PNW Girl♡  Speaking of ice cream, what's your favorite?  The girl introduced us to Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream --> it's awesome!
