2018 was an awesome and bittersweet year for me.  I got married in August 💚 The bittersweet is that I stepped down from a majority of my teams in the summer + some closed down.  My plate was so full, something had to change.

I super appreciate those that still visit my blog and follow me on IG and FB.

As a small token of my thanks, I'm doing TWO separate giveaways.

THIS one is for my international friends.  I'm giving away a £20 Gift Card to Seven Hills Crafts.  Please add your
first and last name along with 'International' next to it along with
your comment below.

For my US Friends, I have a Priority Mail box filled with goodies, here's just a portion of the products.  Please add your first + last name along with "US" to
your comment below.

All that are pictured are brand new, I will add gently used stamps to the box too!

To be eligible for one of my prizes, you will need to add
your information and leave me a comment please 💚

FYI:  I'm managing my giveaway this way to give my
international friends a chance to win something.  Unfortunately,
the cost of shipping makes it prohibitive for me to send out
goodies like my US prize.

The winner will be announced on this post Monday, January 7th,
5:00 am pacific'ish.

★Edited to add winners★

Beary Good Friend | Reverse Confetti

Any guesses how many Reverse Confetti stamps + dies I used in this project?  I'm pretty sure that this is my new record.

21......That's not including cardstock or ink.

I had so much fun picking out the sets and coloring up the images.  I've been gravitating towards purple more.  I love it for it's POP.

Let's start at the bottom and work our way up to the top.  The base is Grape Soda.  You can't really tell in the photos but I did blend the coordinating ink on the top and the bottom of that panel.  I used the largest die from the All Framed Up set.  Then took the 2nd largest and trimmed it so that I could use that strip as a border, do you see that?

I used a bunch of cute critters/images from the following sets:

Bear Hugs
Bearing Gifts
Christmas Bear
Coffee and You
Furever Friends
Honey Bear
Later Alligator
Leaping Lions
Unicorn Wishes

I've been really enjoying clustering a bunch of images together on one project.  When I was done I didn't know how I was going to incorporated the sentiment.  Then I decided to do it tag style!

This is going postal to a good friend that is going through a rough time in her life.  Makes me sad when people lose people dear to their hearts.  I don't necessarily like traditional sympathy cards.  I want her to smile when she sees this critter card.

Trinity Stamps | Guest Designer

I'm super excited to be guesting for Trinity Stamps!  I'm sharing a couple projects up on their blog, here's a sneak peek of one of them:

I'm absolutely smitten with the new Seasonal Sweetheart set!  It's a super versatile set.  Today I'm featuring it along with the previously released Coffee with Character + Caffeinated Sentiments.

I decided to go with a lavender color palette. I colored that sweet girl in various copics inks and put her in black tights.  I love how the coordinating dies give her the ability to hold her ginormous latte (wink).

The thought bubble is filled with images from the Coffee with Character along with some hearts from the Seasonal Sweetheart set.  The sentiment has been customized by using the Caffeinated Sentiments stamp set.  Do you spy that ink background?  That has been created using the Trinity Blendabilites Self-Standing Ink Blending Brush Set.  It makes blending a snap, seriously.

Please pop over to the Trinity Stamps blog to check out my giftie duo!  You'll also want to leave a comment over there on my guestie post for a chance to win a $25 Trinity Gift Card!

You Donut Even Know | Mama Elephant

So, how were your holidays?  Ours were fabulous.  There's something about being surrounded by family.  Love it...especially the kids.  Well, they're all in their 20's but this year there were 5 of them and it was a ton of fun.  I happen to whip up these cards on Christmas morning while I waited for everyone to wake up:

The Mama Elephant Donut Treats is such a fun set.  I remember when it came out last summer, loved it and it went on my wish list.  Fast Forward to prepping for our annual crafty day holiday party.  We always do a gift exchange and I did a bit of shopping at Doodlebugs which included the Donut Treats set and some other things.  My crafty friends are so patient with me...LOL.  I don't know if patient is the word.  I go to the party with stuff that I like, come on, I'm not the only one that does that!  So this year I went home with what I brought.  It was a white elephant exchange.

We love donuts in our household, especially my girl.  So I tend to gravitate to those sets.  I teamed it up with the Along the Way paper pad by Pebbles/Jen Hadfield.

I never have enough birthday cards so I was sure to do one and then I added a thank you too:

My cards were inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!  Love that it is Donna's sketch and my card was thoroughly inspired by Alice's design.

thanks, my friend | Reverse Confetti

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I'm sure that none of you are crazy enough to contemplate hitting the mall today, like me?!  I still need to buy stuff for my Mom and former Mother-in-law.  We always get them gift cards but I also like to give them something to 'open' other than their stockings.   What do you give women that have 'everything'?

So, I'm still slowly working on my holiday thank you's.  Since I have both kids home my crafting has slowed down.  I'm savoring the time with them both until my boy goes back to NY in January.

Here's my latest project featuring Reverse Confetti:

I combined:

Coffee and You
Christmas Bear
A Friend Like You

Just a fun little compact scenery.  The images are colored in pale tons but I love those pops of green.

a note of thanks | Hello Bluebird

Hello and Happy Monday.  It's been an extremely busy several weeks and things are finally starting to 'slow down' for me, just in time for my boy to come home on Wednesday and then things will be busy again.  Yesterday I wanted to start my holiday thank you cards so I grabbed a bunch of different Hello Bluebird sets:

I managed to combine four stamp sets and one die set for this particular design.  I'm calling it my daytime version (more about that in a smidge).

I combined:

Fall Buddies
Autumn Gatherings
Joyful Mouse
Frosty Friends

Birch Tree Die

The blue background panel is from Echo Park Paper's Celebrate Winter collection.  The sentiment is from Fall Buddies.

My design was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

I had been wanting to design a scenery with purple mountains and a black background, a night version.

This one uses most of the same sets as above except I didn't use the Fall Buddies set.  Instead of the Birch Tree dies I used the Glacier Peaks die set.  The 'snow' is from the Hero Arts Confetti Bold Prints with Unicorn pigment ink.  A different color palette from before.

Those images are just so cute, aren't they?!

I'm super behind on everything because of the three coffee hops (Fall | Winter,  National Cocoa Day + International Tea Day).    My last batch of holiday cards will go out on Wednesday, then I'll switch to New Years and holiday thank you's.

Great, Big, Wonderful World by Sharyn Sowell | Spellbinders

I rustic with the design.  I started off with a blue woodgrain panel.  I cut the shape in a grey and a black cardstock.  I adhered the grey on top of the black at a slight shift.

It's so you see periodic black edging but not so that it takes away from the image.  Don't you love all the gorgeous details?

I did 2 passes through my Spellbinders Platform 6 and the pieces easily popped out.  I super love all the cuts.
