This one is on me | Mama Elephant

I recently received my latest order from!  Check it out:

I couldn't wait to jump right in and whip up a card with all the Mama Elephant cuteness:

Boba Tea  |  Stamp
Boba Tea  |  Creative Cuts
Slim Card Basics  |  Creative Cuts

Here's how I was inspired:

Oh my goodness, I just adore the Boba Tea set!  I had so much fun coloring those cuties!  I teamed it up with the Slim Card Basics  |  Creative Cuts.  I decided to stack three shades of CTMH yellow cardstock.

I used the following copics:

R00 |  R20 | R21
G0000 | G000 | G00 | G20
B0000 | BG10
YR0000 | E42

Happy Mother's Day | Divinity Designs

My friends at Divinity Designs asked me to be a guest designer and sent me a bunch of goodies.  Today I'm featuring one of their sets from the newest release, My World.

This is such a pretty set and perfect for Mother's Day which is around the corner.  Here's how I was inspired:

Let's chat about the clean + simple design.  I really wanted that Leo Buscaglia quote to be the star of the show.  So I stamped it on my white base panel in black ink.  I then cut a top panel that was a bit smaller and used the Pierced Ovals to cut the opening.  I stamped the larger floral image on each side of the opening and colored them with alcohol markers.

If you're not familiar with Divinity Designs, their stamps are foam mounted.  These stamp FABULOUS.  Now onto my second card:

I wanted to showcase the sweet Baby Girl Paper Pad.  I love the soft color palette!  I stamped out some of the roses and colored them with alcohol markers and set them aside.  I layered two panels of the pattern paper onto my card base and stamped out the Happy Mother's Day sentiment on the same color strip as my base panel.  I cut the gingham pattern into a square and folded it to look like a floral wrap and finished it off with kraft twine.  I arranged the roses to look like a floral bouquet.  This card will be going to my Momma for Mother's Day with a bouquet of flowers.

I'll be back next Wednesday with another set of cards featuring a different Divinity Designs stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Baby Birds | Paper Smooches

I actually squeaked these into the final moments of Zoom Crafty time on Saturday.  Those Paper Smooches Baby Birds are so cute, aren't they?  I inked them all up and then decided what to do with them.

I decided to team them up in duos.  I used the Flaunters dies, they both been cut with black with a different interior circle.   This one has a gold glitter center.   The pattern strip that has the sentiment stamped on is Doodlebug Design Floral Graph Rainbow Petite Prints.

This is the same design as my first one but the interior is cork.  These turned out to be both postal friendly, no foam adhesive.

I was also inspired by Freshly Make Sketches and made it a landscape design:

Get well soon | Lawn Fawn

Hey there, I was able to crank out one card during my Zoom Crafty session yesterday.  Usually I'm able to do more but this one had me challenged:

I know that it is the navy blue that is throwing me, I just don't do navy very much but I like how it turned out.  I used the Quilted Backdrop with a navy cardstock.  The Foursquare Backdrop was cut out of white and the bottom row was lined with a panel from Hello Sunshine.

The How You Bean jar was paper pieced with another panel from Hello Sunshine.  The sunflowers are a combo of Our Friendship Grows and Happy Harvest.

My intention wasn't necessarily to design a get well soon card but that worked best for my design.

A Latte Dust | Trinity Stamps

I recently picked up a bunch of Trinity Stamps.  Check out the Dir-TEA Bunny [HA, the name cracks me up!]:

Isn't she so cute?!  You gotta remember to pick up the coordinating dies because it cuts her hands [paws?] out so she can carry important things like her coffee mug.  Kudos to Trinity for also including a mug die that cuts the interior handle too!  I literally threaded her hand/paw through.

I picked up the Nested Hearts - 4 piece Die Set too.  It coordinates with their A Crafters Heart Clear Stamp Set.

Did you read the mug?  LOL  The set actually comes with a bunch of different sayings, all fun + clever!

The copics I used:

E93 | E95
E30 | E33
W00 | W1

Here's my interior panel:

I specifically bought the Springtime Sentiments for that saying.

Along with the Fab Friday Challenge:

My cardstock:

Bermuda Bay
Pool Party
Blushing Bride
Crisp Cantaloupe

Flying By To Say | Close to My Heart

I'm a relatively new Close to My Heart fan.  I've recently picked up their Card Front Spinner sets.  I've already shared the Rainbow Wishes set HERE.   Next up is the Fly-by Greetings set:

If you've been following me for a bit you might know that we have an airplane.  My hubby is building a second one, four seater!  So when I saw this set, I knew I had to get it.  My overall color palette translated to CTMH:

Peach |  Mint  |  Thistle  |  Pebble

I like how the Peach is a bit unexpected.

Have you stocked up on the CTMH Cardstock?  It's on sale this month.  I did the customized Cardstock Bundle.  The Thistle cardbase is from my recent order.

You might not be able to readily tell that I used pattern paper for the main panel.  The clouds are from Little Dreamer and the stripes are from Prickly Pear.

Perfect timing since I needed a high school graduation card!

Friday with Amy |

I'm excited to be up on the blog today.  I'm sharing a card that features Waffle Flower.  Here's a bit of a sneak peek:

Resilient | Inspired by Challenge - A Rainbow of Color

Today starts a new Inspired by Challenge and it's filled with color and repetitive patterns!  There's also an optional sketch challenge too:

Here's how I was inspired:

I focused on the colors, repetitive pattern and circles/arches.  All the products I used on my cards for this challenge are by Reverse Confetti.  My overall color palette is Sunshine + Iced Aqua.  Let's chat about my first card:

I used a Sunshine panel with the Large Diamond Cover Panel.  I trimmed it down just a smidge so that the Premier Polar White base panel would show a bit.  I layered it with the Scallop Window Tag.

The sentiment is from the One Day At A Time set.  I finished off the tag with an image from the Peony set.  I don't generally color foliage in yellow but I wanted it to match the Sunshine base.

The copics I used:

Y15 | Y35
BG32 | BG34

I know I wanted to use another cover panel and thought the Stitched Circles would be perfect, love it in Iced Aqua.

I used the Rounded Stitched Window which was inspired by the arches.  The sentiment is from A Friend Like You set.

I stamped out the same foliage from Peony for this design too.  I just used different copics:

BG32 | BG34

I can't wait to see how my other teamies were inspired, please check out the Inspired by Challenge Blog!
