Coffee date | Create a Smile Stamps

So, I wanted to play with the Create a Smile Stamps Coffee Collection Kit and decided to combine it with some older CAS stamps:

That big rainbow mug?  It's from their (retired) Coffee First set.  I LOVE that mug for the style and size!  The other coffee to go cup and green mug are from the Coffee Collection Kit stamp set.

I managed to use a rainbow color palette.  The pattern paper is also vintage, Cosmo Cricket (I miss them!).

I used another (retired) set with the dies from the kit:

Aren't those critters fun?  They're from the retired Lovely Critters set.

Have you checked out their Coffee Collection Kit?!!!

I'm a bit of a sketch-a-holic and love their new challenge:

many thanks | Flora & Fauna - Reverse Confetti

A clean and crisp thank you card design.  All based around that Palm in Vase die by Flora & Fauna.

I'm a certified black thumb.  It must have skipped a generation because my girl LOVES plants.   It seems a lot of her friends are the same way.

I wish you could see the Wink of Stella on the leaf.

My girl asked me to design a thank you card for her friend/co-worker that is working for her on Sunday (the joys of biotech).  My girl and I are driving up to Bellingham to visit one of my BFF's that is in hospice care up north.

The Distress Oxide color trio is compliments of Kristina Werner

New York | Newton's Nook Designs

If you've been following me on FB or IG, you'll have read that I spent a bit of time in NYC.  We celebrated my boy's college graduation!  My trip inspired my project today.

I'm featuring the Newton's Nook Designs -  Newton Dreams of New York.  The (retired) Basic Grey Hey Boy collection is perfect for the New York theme.

I averaged 20k on most days.  A ton of walking and it's my first trip that I solo'd a subway ride...from Brooklyn to Manhattan (patting myself on the back).  If you didn't know, I'm horribly directional impaired and I live in Washington state.  For me to commute from my house to work in the morning it would take 87 minutes to travel 26 miles, our transit system is not so good.  We commute to work together so we have the HOV lanes.

The sentiment has been stamped onto an upcycled coffee sleeve.  Surprisingly, during my last NYC trip I only had coffee at the airport waiting for our trip back AND they only had decaf (gasp).  I was on a big iced black tea kick during this trip.

cheers | Reverse Confetti

Hello and Happy Tuesday.  My first day back to work after taking a week off.  Today, I'm sharing a project that features Reverse Confetti products!

I'm featuring the Drink More Coffee + Cake & Champagne sets.

I'm loving the added texture with the (retired) stencil and modeling paste.

I doubled up the cheers from the Hooray & Cheers Word Duos confetti cuts with Stone + Midnight cardstock.

You can't readily tell but I loaded up the banner with Wink of Stella.

need to venti? | My Favorite Things

It's been a week since I've crafted so I decided to use the MFT Boutique Die-namics:

What a fun set to work with!  I used a brick embossing folder on the storefront and kept with a Starbucks green palette.

The sentiment is from the (retired) MFT Perk Up set.

I LOVE what my friend Lisa did with the Boutique Die-namics HERE.

Here's how I was inspired for today's hop:

Today I'm featuring the CM339 Teacup Flowers set.  Of course, it's a caffeinated design.  The fun sentiment is from Irreverent Birthday Messages.

I used Gina K Designs' Wreath Builders, she is one of the many prize sponsors.

Hero Hues Papers, oh wow, such a lovely rainbow of colors.  No surprises that I used the gorgeous PS308 Hero Hues Kiwi.

Check out the interior of my 4.25 x 4.25 card:

The sentiment is from CM299 Tea Time.  Who doesn't love a tea party?!

I went through my blog archives to find a project that featured the Hero Arts Big Owl and found THIS.  I found several others but whoa, my style has change a ton through the years.  Keeping this super real, check out this Hero Arts Haiku Bunny project from the very first month of blogging in 2007.

Yup, I still own those stamps:

Next up is the fabulous Art Impressions!  In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing:

the best | Reverse Confetti

Check out the Reverse Confetti Mod Floral Stack.

I decided to do the latter half of the ROYGBIV colors.

The glitter panel?  A bit of glitz that gives the design a smidge of glam.
