Reverse Confetti : For You

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I don't know about you but I'm a creature of habit.  I tend to stamp images on white cardstock and then die cut them out.  I decided to switch things up a bit:

Do you see what I did?  I decided that since my background was Reverse Confetti Lime Green that I would stamp all my blooms + stems from Blooms 'N Buds on Lime Green with Avocado ink.  The contrasting details have been stamped with Midnight.

If you've been following me for any amount of time, you'll know that my favorite color is green.  Lately I have been using purple/lavender so I knew that today I was going back to green.

I used one of my favorite tags, Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts.  It comes with the scallop bottom tag, the scallop circle to reinforce the tag on the top and the For You script.

Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #9 - Fa La La

Good Morning!  It's the final day of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Have you linked up yet?!  There are 80 Super Sponsors + TONS of inspiration!

Today's card features Reverse Confetti, one of the Super Sponsors for the hop!

I really am a clean + simple designer.  Funny, I don't feel that way as I slowly write out my holiday cards and all the cards seem so ultra bumpy and so not postal friendly.  This card has a glorious amount of white space.  I used the Pierced Round top Layers confetti cuts as my focal point.  I cut the Fa La La Circle in Brick + Piggy Bank.  The coordinating Brick belly band gives the confetti almost a whole new look, doesn't it?  Love the striped panel from the True Love 6x6.

The Holly was cut from Lime Green and what do you think of my latte berries?!  Those petite to go cups are from the Coffee and You set.

I have 2 more scheduled posts for today but hope to make a couple more projects!

Reverse Confetti: You're the Berry Best!

We're having another warm summer in the pacific northwest although as I type this post up it is overcast...I LOVE days like today.  I'm definitely a fair weather girl, that's why I've always loved the pacific northwest but the summers are getting warmer around here (sigh).

One of the things I love about the summer is all the delicious fruit.  I'm a professed fruitarian.  As I work on moving towards being dairy free, I do love treats that are healthy and lactose free.

The new Reverse Confetti Berry Sweet is such a CUTE set!  I used the confetti cuts on felt I had in my stash.  The sentiment is from the Berry Sweet stamp set.

It seems that I'm on an aqua kick, can't get enough of that color.  My card uses the Reverse Confetti Iced Aqua and RC Aqua.

Hero Arts: Cup of Cheer

Hello, we've been enjoying warmer weather in the pacific northwest!  It's always such a treat for us but I have to admit our last couple of summers have been a smidge too warm for me.

I decided to play with the Hero Arts Stamp Your Own Succulents set:

I used the Coffee Cup Tag Frame Cuts for my 'vase'.   I love the combo of the Floral Mix Layering Papers with the greens.  The succulents have been colored with Copics.  One of my favorite combos:

YG03 + YG25

Do you spy the bit of BV02 on the larger succulent?  It's very subtle but in real life it's a nice addition.  I used the Coffee Cup Tag Frame Cuts on the Starbucks sleeve and just shortened it up.  The background is Distress Spray Stain - Mermaid Lagoon.

Everybody in my household knows that I'm a black thumb.  Today's project is the best type of plant for me💚
