Hero Arts: you are amazing.

Happy Saturday to you!  Have any fun plans?  I'm crafting in the morning then off to a birthday luncheon...looking forward to seeing my friends!

Did you happen to see the photo I posted yesterday?  I was doing a bit of organizing of my Hero Arts woodmount stamps:

I've had that cabinet for years (circa Making Memories) and love to switch out my woodmounts...I've gathered a bunch of my holiday collection by Hero Arts.  This is the perfect time to remind you that Hero Arts is proud to be a Certified Green Business.

Here's a card I whipped up last night:

I used Kelly's Designer paper and stamped the panel on the tag with the Woodgrain Bold Prints by Lia.  The Moss Hybrid ink is perfect.  The Coffee Cup Tags (+ coordinating Frame Cuts) is one of my favorites and I made it fall inspired by using the Ombre Autumn Ink.  The sentiment is from the Happy Mother's Day stamp set.

My card was thoroughly inspired by the newest Coffee Loving Cardmakers:  CASEing DT

We're CASEing Kerry's beautiful card...isn't it gorgeous?!

In case you missed it, don't forget about my IG Giveaway:

Don't you love that mug from Caffeinated Papercuts?!!!

Have a super day and thanks for stoppin' by!!!

Concord & 9th Guest Designer - Happy Card Frame Die

Hello and Happy Friday!  I'm so thrilled to be one of the October Guests over at Concord & 9th!

Check out their new products:

Today I'm sharing 2 projects that use the new Happy Card Frame Die set over on the Concord & 9th blog!

I'm giving you a sneak peek of one of my cards.  I used the Happy Card Frame Die with the gorgeous Mistletoe Card Frame Add-On Die.

I wanted the Mistletoe to be the star of the show:

I cut the Happy Card Frame using Bazzill Marshmallow.  I use my Zig Clean Color Markers.  The bow has been cut with a scrap piece of cardstock and the berries have been die cut in Bazzill Marshmallow.

Super clean and crisp eh?  That background panel?  It's pieced together with strips of MFT Cardstock.

I stamped the envelope with the Happy Words and O Christmas Tree stamp sets.

I wanted to give both Angie + Greg a big shout out for giving me the opportunity to be a guestie!  I've had so much fun and wanted to share my other projects that I created this month:

Hop over to the Concord & 9th blog to see my other project that I designed especially for today!

Reverse Confetti - Coffee

I can't believe that Halloween is on Monday!  Last year I bought 2 bags of chocolate from Costco and only had a handful of kids stop by.  It was raining sideways that evening.  I sent each of my college kids about 6 lbs of chocolate..haha.  If you have young children, what do you do?  The traditional to a specific mall?  Not sure how much we'll buy this year...gotta hide it from a certain someone or else he'll break into them.  I made this especially for Darin...cracks me up.

I love the Reverse Confetti Fright Night paper pad!  So many fun colors and patterns.  Do you spy the bat paper on my card?

I teamed it up with the Lovey Word Coordinates

I used the Stamped Note confetti cuts as a tag!

My card was inspired by Retrosketches:

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Graphic 45!

Did you hear?  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Graphic 45 have collaborated this week!  I'm so excited to be part of this blog hop. My project features a Graphic 45 Mixed Media 5x5 Box - Kraft.

All the panels of paper have been adhered using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser.  I combined the Safari Adventure and Cityscapes paper collections.  I did a bit of distressing on the edges with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink.

Here’s the top view of my project:

I made it into a shaker box!  This can be easily used to store various tea bags.  The tea pot and the tea cup are on Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White.   The sequins are in-between two panels of acetate and adhered to the backside of the lid.    This is a perfect gift for any tea loving friend!

Make sure you pop over to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog for more inspiration today and all week + a chance to win!

Hero Arts: Cheers + Bridal Blog Hop Winners!

Hello and Happy Sunday!  I have a card that uses a total of five Hero Arts stamp sets and 3 Hero Arts ink pads:

Definitely not my typical design...lotsa inky goodness on this.  The background is made from the Color Layering Grateful Leaves.  Aren't they beautiful in Ombre Autumn?  The have been layered with Cup 'O Joe ink.  I smooshed Tea Dye distress ink on an acrylic block, spritzed with water and smooshed on top of the leaves.

The tag has the Forest and Deer Bold Prints stamped in Soft Brown Shadow ink.  The Holiday Messages and Tags  has then been layered with the Ombre Autumn.  The coffee cup from City Adventures has been stamped in Cup 'O Joe and the sleeve has been colored with coordinating copics.  The sentiments, including Cheers Messages by Lia, are stamped in Cup 'O Joe ink.  I distressed the edges, finished off the bottom with a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Border and topped the tag off with May Arts twine.

My card was inspired by the current  Coffee Loving Cardmaker's challenge:  CASEing DT

Isn't Cris' card AMAZING?!!!!!!!!!!!  Her cards are ALWAYS chock full of details!  I absolutely ADORE her style!
