Ellen Hutson LLC - United We Flourish - You had me at G'day!

I was so excited to be a Guest Designer over on the Ellen Hutson LLC - The CLASSroom blog last week.  I did want to share my project here on my blog too.

Introducing the adorable, G'Day Mate:

Here's a bit more information about the United We Flourish collection:

Last November we began celebrating our 10th anniversary with the theme United We Flourish. And what does United We Flourish mean? It means that our company would not be here without the amazing companies we work with, the designers who create stunning projects showcasing the wonderful products being created AND you, our fabulous customers! YOU are such a vital part of our creative community - you inspire & encourage us! Your response to United We Flourish was overwhelming and heart-warming. We heard repeatedly from you that you appreciate how our little company works together with the other manufacturers we carry to bring you their products and education showing how to use those products. To thank you for your constant support and encouragement, we have partnered with some of our friends to offer exclusive limited edition stamp & die sets!!! These sets will be available for a limited time (most likely 3-6 months) after each release, depending on how quickly you snap them up. The theme of these stamps sets are uplifting and fun.

We are thrilled to present the second one to you... G’Day Mate Avery Elle exclusively for Ellen Hutson LLC.

I'm super excited to have this project up on The Classroom blog over on Ellen Hutson's site!  Make sure you pop over there to see Janette Kausen + Alice Wertz's projects too!

Those koalas!  So fun + love their sweet smirks!

They've been stamped on Ranger Watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx.  The images have been colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.  I wanted some type of a simple background for those cuties so I used the Hero Arts Infinity Nesting Clouds that have been inked up with Broken China Distress Oxide.

I kept my overall design clean and crisp but did add a gingham strip from MFT Tiny Check Brights 6x6 Paper pad.

I did post a different project using the  G'Day Mate set HERE.

This week is going to be a scorcher in the Pacific Northwest:

I'm a fair weather girl so I'm hoping to get all my crafty stuff done today for the remainder of the week.

Hero Arts: Greetings from Seattle

If you didn't know it before, I live in the lovely Pacific Northwest.  This has been home to me for most of my life and I do truly love it.  Today I'm featuring the Hero Arts CL835 Stamp Your Own Fruit and Kelly's Seattle:

We love our apples here, my personal fav is the Fuji but I love Twisted Citron.  It definitely pairs nicely with Cracked Pistachio for a nice summery look.

The sentiment, from Kelly's Seattle, has been stamped with Chalkboard Black.

My card was inspired by CAS(e) this sketch!

Essentials by Ellen - United We Flourish - G'Day Mate!

I'm super excited to be guesting for Ellen Hutson LLC!  This week they released a new set in collaboration of their United We Flourish collection.

Introducing the adorable, G'Day Mate:

I'm super excited to have a project up on The Classroom blog over on Ellen Hutson's site but before you go, I did design another project, just for my blog:

Eep!  That Kangaroo...so cute!  I combined them with the Essentials by Ellen - Wish Big by Julie Ebersole set.  Everything has been colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.

I'm always on a mission to create more birthday cards and I couldn't resist popping that fun party hat on Momma Roo!

Now pop over to The Classroom blog!  I'm over there with a couple of my bloggie friends!

Happy Birthday!

A big shout out to CASology for celebrating their 5th Anniversary!  How awesome is that?!  Make sure you check out their special Anniversary post, it's the start of an amazing blog hop.  There is tons of inspiration...hop, link up and maybe you'll be a lucky winner!

The Cue Card for this special challenge is Balloon:

This is a total mix 'n match card:

Let's start at the bottom and work our way up.  My notecard is ala Memory Box.  I'm a lazy girl and super appreciate the ease of just grabbing a ready made note card.  My layered white die cut panel is Waltzing Mouse scalloped rectangle.  The frap cup is by SugarPea Designs - Coffee To Go Cup -Sugarcut.  I smooshed the cup panel in Twisted Citron Distress Oxide that was on an acrylic block and spritzed with water.

TIP:  Vellum fans, I used the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Dots.

I used the Avery Elle Balloon Elle-ments.  The sentiment is from a retired Verve Stamps Plain Jane collection.  It has been stamped with Reverse Confetti Magenta Dye Ink and I used the Reverse Confetti Buttercup cardstock + ink, Avocado cardstock and cloud white cardstock.

I managed to tie a bow on the frap cup using Natural Twine.

The colors I used were inspired by Color Throwdown:

Reverse Confetti: You're the Berry Best!

We're having another warm summer in the pacific northwest although as I type this post up it is overcast...I LOVE days like today.  I'm definitely a fair weather girl, that's why I've always loved the pacific northwest but the summers are getting warmer around here (sigh).

One of the things I love about the summer is all the delicious fruit.  I'm a professed fruitarian.  As I work on moving towards being dairy free, I do love treats that are healthy and lactose free.

The new Reverse Confetti Berry Sweet is such a CUTE set!  I used the confetti cuts on felt I had in my stash.  The sentiment is from the Berry Sweet stamp set.

It seems that I'm on an aqua kick, can't get enough of that color.  My card uses the Reverse Confetti Iced Aqua and RC Aqua.

The Heart Desires featuring Doodlebug Design - Cream & Sugar

Hello and Happy Monday!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I'm up on The Heart Desires blog and I'm sharing a total of 4 cards!  Here's a sneak peek at two of them:

I love quick cards and nothing makes things quicker than using a paper collection.  Today I'm featuring the Doodlebug Design Cream & Sugar collection.

I started with the Cream & Sugar 6x6 paper pad.  I added some of their Cardstock Stickers and finished it off with a sentiment from the Flora & Fauna Texture stamp set.  Don't you love the Donuts Mini Doodle-pops?!

Something else that helps inspire me are challenges.  Make sure you check out the current The Heart Desires Challenge:

I was able to use a bunch of the colors...super easy.

These cards were also inspired by the current Fusion Card Challenge (sketch):

Something else that inspires me is a SALE:

Okay, I have 2 additional cards up on The Heart Desires blog for you to check out!

Thanks for stoppin' by!
