DeNami Design: I need...

this is post 2 of 2 for today...click HERE for my Hero Arts post.

Hello!  Today wraps up my guesting for DeNami Design!   For my final project I knew I wanted to do a coffee themed design:

Isn't the Cafe Clear Set so cute?  I did some quick masking and colored everything with my Zig Clean Color Markers.

A Big Shout out to Nami...thanks for having me!  I'd love it if you'd pop by the DeNami Design blog and say hello!

DeNami Design Guest Designer: Hoppy Spring

Hello!  I'm up on the DeNami Design blog today sharing a card with a custom panel!

First up, I used the adorable Bunny with Flower image on a stitched tag.  I colored her with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  I made my custom panel by cutting strips of 1/2 inch cardstock.   I've been smitten with green + yellow lately...such a fun + happy color combo!  I finished off my card with the Hoppy Spring sentiment.  As I'm typing up my post, it's a gorgeous spring evening in the Pacific Northwest!

I'd love it if you'd pop over to the DeNami Design blog!

DeNami Design Guest Designer: Donut Worry

Hello and Happy Wednesday!  I'm so excited to tell you that I'm guesting over at DeNami Design!

I combined the Coffee and Donut along with the Donut Worry sentiment.  The round label was perfect to stamp on.  I colored the images with copics.

In case you didn't know, my favorite color is green, so I was a happy crafter to incorporate that into my design.

I'd LOVE for you to pop over to DeNami Design and say Hello!

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day Six - Donut Worry Be Happy

post 1 of 2 for today...click HERE for the MFT Challenge & Inspiration post

We're on Day Six of the Spring Hop and it's still going strong!  We hope that you've linked up!

Breakfast of Champions:

Isn't that DeNami Design Coffee and Donut stamp just too sweet?!  I stamped and colored it with copic markers.  A Big Thank you to DeNami Design for being a returning Super Sponsor!!!!

I decided to stamp the sentiment on the interior of the card:

Isn't that fun?!  It's the Donut Worry stamp.

So, I generally plan out my blog week the weekend prior.  I use a planner to write down when I'm posting what cards.  This was originally going to post on Friday but then my schedule changed so now it's posting today, Wednesday.  This went postal to someone, that's why it was posting on Friday so it would give the postal service time to deliver it to the east coast address.

Curtain Call Reminder: nuts about you

This is post 3 of 3 for me today...Click HERE for Seize the Sketch and Click HERE for CAS-ology

I've had this Reverse Confetti Sweet Treat Tent die but never used it for treats, only as a different type of tag.

This has 2 of the panels adhered together with scor-tape.

I wanted to use the DeNami Design's Love Circle in this week's project.  It's inked up with Fresh Ink Red Currant and I teamed it up with the sentiment from the DeNami Design's Petit Four Nuts About You set.

I used a Jenni Bowlin tag, a sentiment from SRM and a skinnified Whisker Graphics Bitty Bag.

I was hoping the Snickers bars that I picked up would fit, they are too big, they are the regular size.  So for now, there is a Jif To Go that I popped into a glassine bag inside :)

Fun Fact:  I've never had a Snickers bar
(not much for bumpy food, I've gotten better but I really don't 'need' to like another chocolate bar)

I hope you play along with us over at

I have a colorful little card for you today...okay, so most of my cards are colorful:)

I'm trying really hard to use my hoarded goodies...this one is chock full of them:

I hadn't inked up the fun cake from Jane's Bakery until now....isn't it CUTE?  All the patterned paper is Jenni Bowlin...it's her 4x4 paper so my card is 4.25 x 4.25.  The canvas bloom is Jillibean and the button is DeNami Design.

I was inspired by Jay Gee's Nook challenge:

I'm chuckling because originally I was going to do pink and green and then the picture in the lower left hand corner caught my eye...and then BAM...my card took a life of her own:)

Okay, I'm the end of today's hop!  Hope that you had fun:)

swoon...gotta love that dress form from the Vintage Rub-Ons set.  It is in brown...LOVE it....

hey sunshine...

Hello!!!

Check out the latest Cutting Cafe file:

I absolutely adore it teamed up with K&Co's Citronella....that stuff screams summer, dontcha think? Check out that crochet bloom..thanks Alice {what doesn't that girl do?!!}...and the button is from the DeNami Design Tutti Fruitti pack 'o buttons...

Okay, I scrapbooked again...I was thoroughly inspired by the
Pink Paislee Sunday Sketch by Jana Eubanks. I loved how she used embroidery thread to connect her banner:)

Boots? Okay, so I 'was' going to title the blog post, "booty-licious" but thought nah...LOL. This is for the These Are a Few of my Favorite Things challenge...Favorite Shoes. Good grief, there are 28 prizes up for grabs peeps...28 prizes...that's just insane.

Did I mention that I live in Washington State where it seems to rain, all the time...the last several days have been very rainy BUT these boots are going to be when I play "soccer mom" in the fall...the fields are muddy and nasty...but I'm going to be stylin'..hahaha...Yvonne...I journaled and it is ON the layout..LOL..

This is actually a primarily Sassy layout....the papers are from the Whale of a Tale line...I fussy cut the frames from a Vintage Yummy sheet...the buttons are PTI Raspberry Fizz...lookie...lookie...I found my black embroidery thread...grrrr...I stitched on the 3 sassy panels...the 'boots' alpha is Jenni Bowlin...I had a ton of fun!! I'm hooked on this scrapbooking thing...

Okay peeps....have a super Thursday and I'll be back tomorrow!!

Friday, June 4, 2010

thanks a bunch...

Happy Friday!!!!

Oh the joy that Friday brings:)

I have a couple cards to share with you...

First up is a Cosmo Cricket'licious one:

Everything is Cosmo Cricket Material Girl except the mini dressform...isn't it sweet? It is by Invoke Arts...the buttons are from my stash, the pearls are by Want 2 Scrap and the sentiment is SRM....Everything is nestled on a GMund base (it has fabbie wood texture)...4.25 x 4.25...

I was inspired by the current Card Patterns sketch the I rotated:

Next up is a pocket card...the kraft base is 6 x 6...all the Crate paper is from the wonderfully generous Piali {thanks sista!!!}...

Gotta love that I have matching thickers...I recently picked up some Jenni Bowlin Canvas flowers...stacked a PTI & DeNami Design button on the bloom...

This is the what was in the pocket...

I used the A Muse To Go cup and the sentiment is by Our Lady of Rubber {thanks Tami!!}.

I was inspired by the
CPS Sketch:

Thank you for ALL the wonderful comments and support lately...I truly appreciate the TIME you take to stop by my 'lil 'ole blog...it really means a ton to me!!!!
