Hero Arts: Peace & Joy

I think that one of my favorite holiday color combos is pink + green.  Love the non-traditional look and how fresh + fun it is.  Today's card starts with a Hero Arts snow panel.  I heat embossed the Peace & Joy sentiment in Copper.

The Color Layering Holly set has been inked up in Fresh Lawn and Field Greens.  I decided to add some red felt berries for more texture.

I was inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge sketch:

Reverse Confetti: warm winter wishes

So if you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I adore the color green.  One color combo that I tend to forget about it pale blue + green.  Today's card features that combo along with the Reverse Confetti Branch Out confetti cuts.

Aren't the Branch Out trees so much fun?  The branch layer is upcycled Reverse Confetti packaging!  The strip of plaid makes me a happy crafter, how about you...are you #madforplaid?

MFT: Friends keep your heart warm

How are you enjoying your weekend?  Hopefully by the time this post goes live I will have gotten a bunch of stuff on my visual to-do list checked off.  I whipped up this card on Thanksgiving in between cooking and picking up my Momma for dinner:

The plaid panel is MFT Subtle Plaid 6x6.  The coral panel is Stampin' up Calypso Coral.  Oh my, those little mice are from the adorable MFT Harvest Mice set.  I adopted them and finally inked them up.  The mugs are the Die-namics LLD Hot Cocoa Cups and the sentiment is from the coordinating stamps set LLD Hug in a Mug.  Do you spy the marshmallows?  They've been slightly toasted...just a bit of Distress Oxide in Antique linen.  I also used Distress Oxide in Walnut Stain on the oval piece of Hot Cocoa.

There's something about makes everything better.  Team it up with cocoa and it's a winner :)

I was inspired by the MFT Color Challenge:

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop: warms my heart

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Today is the 25th of the month which means the Papertrey Ink blog hop!  Check out the gorgeous Fall Inspired photo:

It seems that I don't have much when it comes to PTI fall supplies but I managed to design a card:

Let's start at the top and work our way down.   I combined the oh so sweet, Nuts for You + Cozy Christmas sets.  I started off with a Tag Sale #3.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cozy Christmas set.  I adhered the cute acorn onto the thermos.  Can you tell that I did some speciality snipping on the squirrel so that he could hold onto the thermos?  I topped off the tag with some twine that I had in my stash.

The Linen & Canvas impression plate is a timeless tool, don't you agree?  That Linen side is awesome and gives cards just the right amount of texture.

I can't wait to hop around and be inspired.  Fall inspired cards are probably my favorites!
