CASology Guest Designer: Crunch

I'm so happy to be the Guest Designer for CASology today!   I'm such a fan of CASology and had to put my thinking cap on for this cue card:

Here's how I was inspired:

Coffee & Cookies!  I love the Darcie's, Milk & Cookies set.  The stamped images are always fun to team up with the coordinating Tin Pins.

I can't wait to see how the CASology team was inspired, make sure you pop over there!

Hero Arts: You brighten up my day

Have you seen the new Hero Arts Fun in the Rain set?  It's an Add-on set from the February My Monthly Hero.  It sold out pretty early but looks like it has been restocked!

Oh yes, Hero Arts now has Ombre' Sequins!  Funny, my finished card isn't anything like how I envisioned it.  It wasn't even going to be a shaker card but spied the sequins on my desk and things quickly changed up.

The Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag Frame Cuts are so fun to use without the stamps.  I stamped and colored that sweet bear first and then cut the cup out.  Do you see the subtle raindrops that have been stamped in Soft Pool?

Originally I was just going to adhere the cup to a white base but didn't like the white on white so as I was digging through stuff, I came across some American Crafts bags.  I remembered I use to make shakers with them.  I use my bone folder to lift up all the seals so that I can run it thorough the Cuttlebug.

Can you believe that we're nearing the end of February?!

February Papertrey Ink Blog Hop: You are my...

It's the 25th which means a project that features Papertrey Ink goodies.  It's been awhile since I joined the fun and I'm smitten with this month's inspiration:

Those rich colors are absolutely delish, aren't they?  Here's how I was inspired:

Surprise!  It isn't a coffee card...tea makes me happy too.  I'll drink all forms of caffeine!

I combined the Phrase Play #1 stamps and dies.

The tea cup is the Warm Happiness Die.  I think I'll give this to my Momma for her upcoming birthday.

I can't wait to hop around, love all the inspiration!!!!

Life is Smoother...

Have you seen the new Ellen Hutson LLC, Essentials by Ellen Release?!  It's awesome, here's what I picked  up:

I consider myself lucky that I can easily pick up my orders from Ellen's!  Although, that being said, it's quite dangerous (wink).

Well, I couldn't wait to dive into my new goodies:

Eep!  I love the new Spa Day that I combined with the Mirror Mirror Designer Dies.  I used PinkFresh Studios Felicity Paper.  Can you tell that I backed the Mirror frame with pale aqua vellum?

My card was inspired by the current Essentials by Ellen, Pin-Sights Challenge:

I was inspired by the aqua color and the 'smooth' surfaces.

I was also inspired by the current Freshly Made Sketches:

This card is going to a sweet friend, we're celebrating her belated birthday.   I put together a giftie bag full of Spa products like masks and nail polish.

Thanks for stoppin' by!!!!

Winnie & Walter Guest Designer: Sending Warm Wishes

Hello!  I'm so thrilled to be back again on the Winnie & Walter blog!  I have several projects over there that I am sharing but I'm sneak peeking one of them here.

For those of you that follow me know how much I adore coffee and I couldn't go without at least designing one coffee card:

I'm also playing along with the Ink Smooshing Challenge with Heather H.  The coffee cup is me freestyle cutting, retro style with paper and scissors.  The coffee sleeve has been embellished with Sketchy Thoughts.  The ink smooshing was perfect for my design, I combined Mowed Lawn + Salty Ocean Distress Inks.

The cup and the sentiment bubble are on foam dimensionals.

That's it for me.  A big shout out to Shay for inviting me to the party, I had so much fun!  I'd love for you to pop over to the Winnie & Walter blog to check out my other projects!!!
