Happy BEE day + SALE | Reverse Confetti

Happy Sunday!  How is your weekend going?  Although I'm not in Phoenix this weekend, I'm keeping busy and have been living vicariously through all the Creativation posts on FB/IG.  I'm still working on building up my Birthday card stash and couldn't wait to ink up the Reverse Confetti Happy Bee Day set.

Although I did ink up all of the images in the Happy Bee Day set, I used all but the one lone bloom.  My colors:

Sunshine + Iced Aqua

I've been gravitating to brighter colors these days, probably in anticipation of spring in the pacific northwest.  We had a sneak peek of it for a couple days in a row last week but now it is kind of dreary and drizzly.

I combined the Diagonal Stitches  + Large Eyelet Cover Panel.

Now is a great time to pick up all your Reverse Confetti wish list items...

thanks, my friend | Reverse Confetti

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I'm sure that none of you are crazy enough to contemplate hitting the mall today, like me?!  I still need to buy stuff for my Mom and former Mother-in-law.  We always get them gift cards but I also like to give them something to 'open' other than their stockings.   What do you give women that have 'everything'?

So, I'm still slowly working on my holiday thank you's.  Since I have both kids home my crafting has slowed down.  I'm savoring the time with them both until my boy goes back to NY in January.

Here's my latest project featuring Reverse Confetti:

I combined:

Coffee and You
Christmas Bear
A Friend Like You

Just a fun little compact scenery.  The images are colored in pale tons but I love those pops of green.

hello friend | Graciellie Design

The weather has been pure northwest fall.  A bit dark, cold and drizzly.  It makes me want to stay indoors, have hot drinks and craft all day!  Today's project features Graciellie Design's Stay Cozy digital stamp set:

I'm loving the rich color palette, perfect to warm up to on a chilly fall day!  The papers are from Pebbles  |  Jen Hadfield - Warm & Cozy.

I topped off my card with a twine bow.

I love you...

The Simon Says Stamp - STAMPtember More than S'mores was patiently waiting for me to ink it up.

Love this fun collaboration with Heffy Doodle!

Funny thing, I must not have had enough coffee this morning.  I started coloring this like it was the raccoon, not the squirrel.  So she's become an Eastern Grey Squirrel.  I adore the fluffy animals in this set, so cute.   I teamed them up with the highly neglected Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder.  The card base and panel are Memory Box chipboard.

The pattern paper is Echo Park Celebrate Autumn.  The images have been stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet black and are nestled on a Stampin' Up Merry Cafe coffee cup.  Check out the interior:

(Chuckling) Love how the sentiment turned out.

Reverse Confetti: How old?

Snarky birthday card?  Yes, Please.

I was chuckling as I designed this card.  More about the sentiment in a smidge.  I'll start with the Reverse Confetti Lime Green panel.  It's been stamped with Whole Lotta Dots in Parakeet.  The sweet scallop is Iced Aqua with the Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts.

The cake from Candles 'N Confetti has been stamped and colored with alcohol markers.  Truthfully it has several layers of different colors until I could get to the right shade.  Do you spy the heat embossed dots on the frosting?  The cake stand is the same situation, I couldn't get the color quite right so it has several different layers of color too.  I don't generally do that but was pretty persistent during this particular coloring session.

The sentiment is a combo of Fancy Word Coordinates and Celebrations.  I topped off my design with Solid Charcoal twine.

I'm linking up to the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash challenge.  This month the theme is Birthday.

with heartfelt sympathy...

I'm sending out 2 sympathy cards this week...such difficult cards to make.  I'm a fan of non-traditional colors...the lighter and pastel the better.  This one is being sent to a family:

I haven't inked up the Reverse Confetti Rose Garden in awhile.  I originally picked it for the rose image so bonus points that it has a sympathy sentiment.  I was thinking of using a stencil for the Sand background but decided to keep it clean and crisp.

The pattern strip is from the True Love 6x6 paper pad.  The pink cardstock is Piggy Bank.  The rose is colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.  The leaves are Zig to Zig but the rose was actually colored with 2 different shades of pink and then literally saturated with water to swoosh the colors around.  I love the loose watercolor effect.  The Midnight ink and Cloud White cardstock works well for this technique.  I dried the image with my heat gun.

Love to go

The other day I posted this on FB/IG.  I'm not much into mass production which for me is anything more than 1 of a similar design.  This Unity Stamp Co, Love to Go image is so fun to watercolor!

Here's how they turned out:

All the paper is from Doodlebug Design, Kitten Smitten.
