Reverse Confetti | a happy hello

Happy Friday Eve!  I can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of August?!  I'm popping in here to share a project that features products by Reverse Confetti.

I combined Tall Blooms with the Basket confetti cuts.  Love the Cue the Confetti 6x6 paper pads.  Aren't the colors gorgeous?  My palette was determined by the strip of lime + iced aqua.

I love using the All Framed Up confetti cuts!  This time I trimmed a bit off to give a bit of visual interest to my overall design.

I was inspired by the latest Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch:

How lucky am I that I've actually met up with Ruby a couple of time, these two were in NYC 2015 | 2016:

I've always been crafty but took the plunge when I signed up to be my son's co-op preschool scrapbook coordinator (he's now in his senior year of college).  I was assured by the gal that had done it the prior year that it was a piece of cake, had I scrapbooked before that, um no.

Why do I create?  It's a part of me and my life.  I enjoy it so much, the process, the sharing but really, the community.  I've made some fabulous friends during my journey and consider myself fortunate because of it.  I would have never have met Ruby if I wasn't a crafter.  I love how it connects people from all of the place.  There's never a hesitation to meet another crafty person because we all have that crazy bond.

I knew exactly the stamps that I was going to use for today's projects.  Perhaps you saw this on my Instagram?

I used two of the three sets:

Fall Friends  |  Autumn Gatherings

Let's chat about the card first.  It features the two Hello Bluebird stamp sets.  They are just too cute, aren't they?  I teamed them up with the Simon Says Stamp Birch Tree Window.  The cardstock is Ellen Hutson LLC - Essentials by Ellen - Slate.

Next up is a project featuring the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Tiny Shadow Box Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell.

I used the bunny from the Fall Friends stamp set and included the cloud.  The pattern paper is from the Girl Squad paper pad.  The shadow box is so cute, it comes with a bunch of different dies including the banners and the 'sunflower'.

The sentiments were perfect for today.  I love it when I gather with my friends, it's always going to be fun.  I'm grateful to know Ruby and love being a part of this awesome crafting community.

I had so much fun designing this duo and it is on it's way to Ruby💚

Next up is the amazing Mayline Jung!  If you get lost along the way, the complete hop listing is HERE.

Graciellie Design + Coffee Loving Cardmakers | Stay Strong

We are so excited to be collaborating with Graciellie Design!  Did you see their newest coffee set, Stay Strong?!  Make sure you check out the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog for all the details and leave comments along the way for a chance to win!

I couldn't wait to play with the images, check out my first design:

I love working with digital images so that I can customize the sizes.  Who doesn't love a big ole frap!   To highlight the Frap image I backed it with a bit of stencil work using modeling paste.

Here's my second card:

I used the same overall design but switched the sentiment to the bottom.  I used another stencil but with a tone on tone ink.

A big shout out to Super Sponsor Graciellie Design!  I had so much fun with the new set...did you know that Unity Stamp Co also has it in a Rubber Stamp version?

I'm linking up my cards to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge:  Food + Drink

Here's a listing of all the designers/blogs that are participating today:

Commenting open through August 30th with the winner announced on Saturday, September 1st. Winner selected from the comments across all of the participating blogs.

Reverse Confetti | A note of thanks

I'll be designing thank you cards over the next couple of weeks, more on that in a smidge.  Check out this project I designed with Reverse Confetti's Class Act stamps + coordinating confetti cuts.

My color palette is:

Brick  |  Bumblebee  |  RC Aqua  |  Iced Aqua

I don't know if you can tell but the red apple is die cut from felt, same with the leaf.  The stem is upcycled Reverse Confetti packaging.

The notebook edge is compliments of Office Edges confetti cuts.

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

So behind the scenes I've been quite busy preparing for a wedding that happened on 08-18-18:

So happy to announce that after almost 10 years, we finally made things official. What was suppose to be the two of us and our four kids ended up being combined with a Family Reunion weekend in lovely Port Ludlow.   We were married in front of our immediate family at Burner Point.

The staff at The Resort at Port Ludlow were awesome and we couldn't be more happy with the fabulous weekend.

Friday Night = S'mores night  |  Breakfast before the ceremony
Various family photos  |  Salmon Potlatch for dinner

This venue is definitely a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest!

Hero Arts | Season of Wonder Release Blog Hop

Although the Hero Arts Winter release has been available at your favorite retailer, today marks the day that it is available in the Hero Arts Store!  They're celebrating with a blog hop and I'm thrilled to hop along with them!

You should have arrived here from Clare Prezzia's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the fun, which is the Hero Arts Blog!

Be sure to leave a little love along the way - They're giving away two $50 shopping sprees to the Hero Arts online store, randomly drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Sunday, August 26th at 11:59 PM PT and they will announce the winners the following week.

I have three projects to share so let's get started, shall we?!  My first card is one of two that are published in the Season of Wonder 2018 catalog:

It features the LP460 Angel Trio.  It's been teamed up with the CM192 Offbeat Holiday Messages and the DI487 Bird and Banner Fancy Die.  Do you spy the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies and the Star Confetti Fancy Die?  To add pops of color, I used the PD114 Liquid Watercolor - Indigo.

Next I have a project that features the CM281 Christmas Mice:

She's been stamped with Intense Black and colored with various alcohol markers.  I used the frame from the DI527 Deer and Ornament Fancy Die.  Do you spy the DI531 Woodgrain Texture Fancy Die, that's a must have!

My final project was something I had been thinking of since the August My Monthly Hero optional add-ons became available:

I masked off the mountains from the CM289 Ski Holiday set so they could fit in one of the cups from the new  Cups and Handles Infinity Dies.  Do you see the CG749 Floral Doily Bold Prints has been clear embossed on the cup?  The track for the ski gondola has been heat embossed in copper.

Your next stop is the awesome Amy Kolling!  In case you get lost along the way, here's the complete hop listing:
