Graciellie Design | Hello Sweet Friend

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  My kind of ice cream, pretty and calorie-free!  Loving this digital design by Graciellie Design - Sweetness:

The pattern paper is vintage Studio Calico.  Love the pop of greens

I always gravitate to foam dimensionals, my favorites are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I'm so happy that I can link up to the Inspired by... challenge:

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

Hello!

Here's a card that combines some of my favorite things!

Did you do a bunch of fun things for National Scrapbooking Day?  We were actually in Montana.  Darin has an annual golf tournament that he plays in with his Dad & Cousin.  While they do that, I drive 80+ miles to the closest "Big" city of Missoula.  While I did stop into 2 Scrapbooking Stores, I didn't actually buy anything there...I did pop into their Joann's and bought a ton of stuff...at least it was tax free and most of it was 50% off.  I caved and bought Project Life supplies so those should be popping up here on my blog in a couple weeks.

rustic greetings.

Click HERE for my Seasons Givings Blog post, commenting closes 1/5/2014 @ 6 pm.

What's that?

Yes, I know this is a Christmas Card.

In an attempt to have a less stressful November, I'm going to be hitting up the Christmas Challenge blogs!

So, this card uses The Craft's Meow, Rustic Greetings.  I'm so sad that TCM closed but totally understand, family first.  I bought it in December and didn't get a chance to ink it up for the 2013 Christmas cards.

See that smidge of cork?  Can you see the white snowflake that is stamped on it?  I bought the circles at Daiso, the Japanese dollar store.   They are actually for furniture feet, kwim?

The paper is vintage Pink Paislee.  It looks like it is Circa 2010, perhaps released at the Winter CHA show?

Well, I just found my stash of it while organizing and decided to dig into it.

Perfect for the Jingle Belles challenge

lucky me...

I've been loving the clean & simple look ...

I also love sentiment-less cards...
it's all about the handwritten note on the interior...

a big shout out to the FAB Ginger
She sent me a Sweet 'n Sassy Gift card and I picked up a couple die sets and a digi stamp...the hearts on my card
were made by a die that I picked up over there...Thanks soooooo much Ginger!!!  She is who introduced me to Sweet Sebastian...there's a new update on Sebastian....can you believe that he received over 500 cards and packages...you know what?  That makes me so genuinely happy...there is so much goodness out in the world...soooo many kind people that will take time out of their busy day to make a little boy smile....that, my friends, is priceless.  I'm pretty sure that Ginger didn't know what she was getting herself into when she did that shout out on her blog about cards for Sebastian...the ripple effect...it is a wonderful thing.

This is a multi-tasking card:

today is a new day...

One of those days....I had a ton of plans that eventually were squashed when I went out to my car that had a dead battery...sigh...gotta love AAA. That's okay, I managed to squeak out a card {and take a nap!}...

I'm still playing with my new goodies...check out one of my newest Hero Arts/Studio Calico sets, My Happy.  See that doily?  It's upcycled from Prima packaging...it's heavy transparency....just did some fussy cutting.  The cameo is ala Hambly.  I love the sentiment...don't you?

I was inspired by several challenges...first up:

The gold that I translated to yellow...the silhouette....the text.

BWS tips button

the pattern in the dress...the pops of yellow and green...the coiffed hair {is that a bump it?}

and finally Case Study 71

I love CASE Study

I cased the overall design...

I need to post this before the RIC linky expires...off to dinner with the girls...gotta love getting together for birthdays!

special delivery...thank you!

hello!!

It seems like I haven't posted in forever but it's only been since Monday...LOL.  The thing is, the last time I crafted was probably Friday so that has been a long time.

I have a smidge of a tall card to share today...the creative process went out of control and I managed to layer up tons of goodies:

Really, the inspiration that sparked the card is this one:

Originally I scoured the web for a similar image...that route is a smidge over whelming so I popped over to Jessica Sprague to see what I could find...it reminded me that I have some Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly that I've been neglecting...

The card is chock full of goodness....I'm going to be working on my holiday thank you's/New Years Day cards today...what I can make I'll pop in the mail tomorrow and then off to Valentine's Day cards...I was very naughty and didn't manage to send out very many holiday cards this year...no excuses...

I was overwhelmed with TONS of gorgeous cards and gifties from some seriously SWEET bloggie friends...Thank You Thank You Thank You...

The sentiment is Lawn Fawn's sophie's sentiments...LOVE that set...sweet font:)  I'm linking up to the FAB Lawnscaping Challenge #24:

Tons of texture including the embossing and the glitz...I tend to be a silver glitter girl but couldn't pass up the Martha Yellow Gold Glitter and LOVE it.

I'm also linking up to the Wee Memories Challenge #80:

Speaking of Wee Memories...

I've been meaning to blog about the print I won from Jenny...it's available in her Etsy Shop, Jenny Suchin Designs, Believe in Pink.  I popped it in an Ikea frame...and it sits in my Craft Room that is {obviously} still in progress...{Darin so kindly put together my faux Expedit that we picked up at Target}....need to make another trip to Ikea for more of those square baskets.

I've decided to link up to CAS-ual Fridays #33:

In the big picture...or amy's big picture, this is pretty CAS for me:)  One strip of patterned paper...no stitching...did you notice that?!!!

How was everybody's holiday?  We had an excellent time at all the different homes...I consider us lucky to have so many homes to celebrate in.

One of the many fab gifts I received is this glorious {white} iPod Touch:

{{thank you to my SWEET Darin!!}}

I LOVE it....spent way too much time on line and retail shopping for a new case...almost spent over $40 for one online and then ended up with a white hard casing...for which I will personalize with some EAD Designs vinyl...stay tuned for that:)

Did you see the Design Team Call announcement over on EAD Designs?

I'm going to continue to design for EAD...LOVE their products:)

Okay, are you still with me???

I'm super sad to post this....

Another brick and mortar closing shop...makes me super blue...

Okay, probably not the best way to end this post so let me add this...I'm going HERE because of THIS.

joy...

Please CLICK HERE for my The Craft's Meow post!

This holiday season I've noticed a ton of manufacturers slinging out the free images...it's GREAT.  But, I'm pretty ritualistic...I save all these gorgeous images and never return to them to actually USE them...sigh.

So in an effort to "use what I have"....I've broken my ritual and used a freebie!

Check out that gorgeous Webster's Pages tag...YUP, it's a FREEBIE.

The detail is delish:

Check out those SWEET birds...one even has a crown...

My card was Inspired By...Laurel:)

You gotta check out Laurel Seabrook's new Challenge site:

I'm one of those many crafters that seem to need inspiration in order to create....whether it is a sketch, a color combo or inspiring photo.  So I was thrilled to learn that Laurel started a new site...you have until Wednesday, December 7 at 11:59 PST to link up!

I loosely used the Cardabilities sketch:

"Go to Gal"

Kim Kesti!!!

{I know...seriously f-u-n!!}

We had the opportunity to pick a Kim Kesti card and use it as your inspiration...check out the E.A.D Designs blog for the deets....

I picked this cutie:

I was inspired by:

the design
spotlight of a woodland creature

haha...guess what? I used an owl...no, say it isn't so......

OMGoodness...check out the 'hoot a Licious' Stickerz.....toooooooo stinkin' c-u-t-e!!!

I did some creative clipping on the branch {truly one of the many beauties of the Stickerz line}...I replaced the leaves with the peacock colored hearts...

All the patterned paper is ala Cosmo Cricket Togetherness...I've been having fun with the craft felt clouds...free form design as I hand cut them...whimiscal touch:)

The ribbon is Stampin' Up So Saffron and the button is Denami..it's one of those that have a starburst in the middle...and the red/white bakers twine..yup, still working on the smidge that was part of packaging that I received....

What's that? The color combo looks familiar to you? Well...yes....it is the E.A.D Designs current Farmer's Market Color Challenge....

Woot Woot! I'm pattin' myself on the back for some multi-tasking skillz:)

Well, I'm the end of the blog hop train...did you have fun? Of course you did...LOL...thanks sooo much for hoppin' by!!!!
