Sigh, I've had such a wonderful time being part of the Jacksonbelle Design Team...it's sad that the shop is closing...

I've been enabled alot being part of the Jacksonbelle team...I bought my first ZVA's from there...I've picked up some Cosmo Cricket, Prima, Pink Paislee and Jenni Bowlin to name a few...

I decided to showcase some Jenni Bowlin today..

The two different pattened papers are by Jenni Bowlin...the polka dots are 12 x 12 and the text is from a 4x4 set {Oh how I LOVE those!!}...

The stamp is my new Savvy image, Leaning Flower, I picked up at Impress..the ribbon is May Arts that I found in the A Muse bargain bin and the buttons are PTI. Do you see that Ric Rac card? That was a fabbie rak from
Ivy...thanks sista.

I was inspired by the new Card Pattern sketch:

Gasp, I almost did a literal interpretation of the sketch:)

i want to ride my bicycle..

Happy Monday {ugh}...

The weekend just speeds right along, doesn't it? I was able to spend a couple hours being crafty over the weekend...that's when I try to get a bulk of my weekly projects done..

Check out my shaped card for today:

I was inspired by the Cardabilities Sketch #5...

Isn't that a fabulous sketch?!! I totally knew that I was going to use my Stampin' Up Top Note die {that thing rocks...}...Looking forward to joining the Cardabilities Design Team next month!!

Isn't the Hambly paper fun?!!! Pink and Red, can't go wrong with that...I decided on the cycling theme for the Moxie Fab World Challenge: I want to Ride my Bicycle. P.S. I actually do have a pink beach cruiser bicyle:)

The card base is Stampin' Up Pixie Pink. The American Crafts Details matched in a fun whimsical kind of way...I trimmed the A Muse sentiment to fit on the Details:)

♥♥rak alert♥♥

I had a super fun RAK that arrived in my mailbox over the weekend...

All this goodness is brought to you by Libeeti! I met Libeeti via 365 Cards...She designs cards and layouts...Isn't the card just perfect???? Oh I'm in crochet bloom heaven.....check out all the goodies!!!!!!! Thank you sooooooooo much Libeeti!!!!! I love it all!!

Welcome to 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday!!!

We have another fabulous sponsor lined up for this week:

Okay, ready for the sketch?!!!

Here's my liberal take on the sketch..lol...if you squint and turn your head...you can really see how I was truly inspired by the sketch...good grief, another banner?!

I played with The Digi Kitty Babushka Doll....perfect for paper piecing! You've seen those dolls in orange and fushia houndstooth, haven't you? :) All the patterned paper is American Crafts...yup another banner...I'm getting so predictable, aren't I? LOL..I just can't seem to get enough of them...The hello is actually a SRM sticker that I cut up {patting myself on the back for that move}...the crochet blooms are compliments of Alice:)

I hope that you'll play along with us...I can't wait to see your take on the sketch!!

I took a little field trip on Friday on my way to meet my friend for dinner...I stopped by the A Muse shop. I love it when the sales girl asks: "Did you find what you were looking for?"...me: "Uh yeah, I came here to buy the new coffee mug.".....

Uh yeah, so I did get the mug...and a smidge more:)

This is one of the very many reasons why I love living where I do...

Isn't it absolutely gorgeous?

You just gotta love the chandeliers...

Why yes, I did have a great time and yes, I did touch everything and went through the store twice...sooooooo much fun:)

make the world better and merci...

Happy Friday!!!!!

Woot Woot!!! I'm sooo excited for the weekend:)

Tonight I get to have vietnamese food with one of my fav peeps...afterwards we're going to walk around and window shop {translation get giftie ideas}

I wanted to share a layout....my boy took the pic of my girl and photo edited the image via his iPad {yes, the boy saved up his own dinero to buy it!}....

Ahhh...the teenage years....I love my girl, no matter what mood she is in {haha...she probably says the same about her momma!}...I found the title: make the world better...via Compendium. They are a local company that specializes in inspirational gifts.

I often wonder what the kids will be like when they are older...how they will contribute to the world...I work hard to remind them the value of kindness...I'm soo thrilled that they are both artistic souls. Do you remember when you were 15? High School years...quite frankly you couldn't pay me to go back to those years...it's so different these days...not like back in the 80's :)

Well, I did it again...another Sassy layout...sooo my girl though...and I have such a large stash of Sassafras...

I was thoroughly inspired by the girls over at Twisted Sketches....this week's twist is "flag"...anyhow...anyway....that was totally calling my name:)

Next up is some October Afternoon goodness....

I wanted to ink up my sweet little Invoke Arts dressform...can't get enough of those things...patiently waiting for my Maya Arts Dressform chipboard album that I ordered...all the paper is October Afternoon and I was able to use a fabbie SRM sentiment!

I was inspired by the current Card Patterns sketch:

I have to tell you though...for some reason those 6 flowers were throwing me for a loop...crazy, eh? {that's the canadian in me coming out}...but seriously what's the big stinkin' deal with the flowers? I tried so many different embellies and then A-Ha! I decided to fussy cut the circular pattern from the OA paper...translation=I need the other embellies that go with Thrift Shop and Go Fly a Kite {muwahahahaha}

This also qualifies for the CAS-tastic Color Challenge of Blue and Yellow! I love blue and yellow together....such a happy combo!

Just a reminder that you have until tonight @ 11:59 pm PDT to enter my PixiePetals blog candy!!! I hope that you all have a fabbie friday!!!

Make the world better: paper: sassafras other: target $ bling, cosmo cricket tiny type, sassafras stitched blossoms, thickers

Merci: paper: october afternoon stamp: invoke arts other: srm sticker, kaiser craft pearls.

Here's what I have to share with you today....

I think that one of the styles that will forever be trendy is tropical...gotta love surfboards! I printed the surfboards on Gmund textured cardstock...I added pops of color by using PTI Hawaiian Shores and New Leaf. The patterned paper is by Bella Blvd, the Aloha is Stampin' Up and the buttons are from the fabbie Jane:)

Check out this fabbie new Summertime set!

I was inspired by TESC117:

Happy Jacksonbelle Tuesday!

Well, the month is winding down...the shop is still open and will be through the end of the month....the sale has been bumped to 75% off...

I decided to design a scrapbook page for today...although these particular Pink Paislee papers are no longer available in the shop, there are other Pink Paislee papers that need a home:)

I'm still trying to get the hang of photog'ing layouts and need to try this that I read over on the Pink Paislee blog..the ivory panel actually has monochromatic hearts on it...I used some Thickers that I picked up at Big Lots...the Pink Paislee blooms are from the Jacksonbelle store...as I type this up there is still one set left..

Darin and I love to take long walks on the weekends....I love the pacific northwest...I can't imagine living anywhere else...

I was inspired by Twisted Sketch #054:

Happy Father Day and Happy 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday!

This week our sponsor is:

Lia Stampz

Lia Stampz

There are tons of CUTE images over on her blog...we had a couple to pick from...more on that in a smidge...here's our fabbie sketch:

Sorry about the pic...had to do an indoor one....I picked the 'froggy' image because I wanted to team it up with the fun Prima Umbrella Collection.

The Prima chippies work nicely with the frog image:) The sentiment is from my ginormous SRM stash:) Mr. Frog was a challenge for me to paper piece...he's soo skinny:) All the cardstock is SU...So Saffron, Old Olive and Cool Caribbean...I hope that you'll join us in the sketch challenge!!!!

The kids and I {along with my daughter's friend} spent most of Saturday out and about...we headed over to my brother's neighborhood because they were having a community garage sale day...sooo much fun! We also took the time to see the new additions to the neighborhood....

Goats...like 120 of them! Craziness...it's a way for the community to deal with the weeds in the common areas of the development..

Check out the unicorn goat! Rough life...eating all day...

Next Stop: Wing Luke Art Museum

This is a great Asian Museum located in Seattle's International District. In 2008, the museum relocated to its present location in the 1910 East Kong Yick Building...they have done a superior job on the space...

We ended our field trip with a delicious Japanese linner=lunch/dinner.

Thanks sooo much for stoppin' by...I always appreciate the visit and your comments:) I'm horribly behind on my Google Reader and hope to do catch up today along with a bunch of other projects..oy..but sooooo much FUN!!!
