Hero Arts: a fond goodbye + giveaways

WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW!

My final post on my blog as a member of the Hero Arts Creative Team.  More on that in a smidge, let's chat about my project.

Matcha + Limoncello Ice Cream

Ice cream, who doesn't love ice cream?  Unfortunately I'm no longer able to have the traditional version but luckily Seattle is loaded with non-dairy options.  My project features the Color Layering Ice Cream set.

I've teamed it up with the gorgeous Papel Picado Confetti Die.  I just love all the detail work on it, don't you?

My card was inspired by the Color Throwdown:

Such a bittersweet post to an emotional Design Team week for me.  In case you missed it, I've stepped down from Pinkfresh StudioSugarPea Designs and Hero Arts.  What it comes down to is not having enough hours in the day to get all the things done that I want.  I love to spend time with Family + Friends and my crafting time was really down to an exact science, any deviation from that schedule would have me literally scrambling to get projects done.

I joined the Hero Arts Creative Team in September 2015.  I can't believe that it has almost been 3 years.  It has been an absolute JOY being on the team and being a part of the Hero Arts Family.

As I've done with the other teams, I wanted to share a couple of my favorites, this was my intro project, perfect theme don't you think?

Here are a couple of my other favorites:

I've decided to do an Instagram Giveaway:

I realize that not everyone is on Instagram so I've also decided to do a Hero Arts blog giveaway!  I will send a box of new + gently used Hero Arts Products to one lucky blog commenter.

★Leave me a comment about a crafty organizational tip (I need to do a massive reorg of my space) or your favorite stamping technique (it would be super awesome if you would link posts/photos)

Commenting closes on Friday, July 6th at 11:59 pm pacific and the winner will be announced on Saturday, July 7th.

I've noticed that a majority of the comments left on my blog are from No-Reply bloggers.  PLEASE leave me your contact information so that I can reach out to you if you're my winner.  It would be super sad if I have to redraw for a new winner.

(Almost 50% of the comments are No-Reply bloggers, please leave your contact information)

I'm so excited to announce my Hero Arts blog winner!  I highly encourage everyone to make sure that their blogger profile is set up or always leave your contact information for giveaways.  The lucky winner is:

Hero Arts: Be The Change + Hero News

Hello!  I'm up on the Hero Arts blog with a project that features the G6287 Be The Change stamp.  Please make sure you make it down to the bottom of my post for some Hero Arts News.

Here's a peek at my project:

I do have a duo using the same stamp but in a different design:

I love color and couldn't wait to combine colors from the Sunshine and Pool Mix Layering Paper packs.

I wanted to find a serene background and thought the S6144 Wave Pattern Background would be perfect, what do you think?

I don't know about you but all the things that have been happening lately has me wondering how I might be able to make a change.

In May I volunteered in a fabulous 2nd grade classroom.  I assure you, my kids are in their 20's.  It is D's daughter's classroom that she teaches.  I had so much fun at the Seattle Science Center.

This month I will be participating in a walk to benefit a local food bank.  It's one that I've been wanting to walk in for awhile, I'm so glad that my daughter and friend will be joining me.

My goal is to do community service/fundraising once a month and eventually adding more time to it.

I will be wrapping up my Hero Arts Design Team work this week.  I will have another post tomorrow but thought this would be a better post for me to share my news.  It will have been three years in September.  I still remember when Libby contacted me, pretty sure I told her to shut up...LOL.

That's us teaching a Hero Arts class at the local Impress shop.  How grateful am I to have been able to be on the Hero Arts Creative Team?!   I joined the team August 2015 and have learned so much, had the opportunity to work tradeshows, teach classes...a designer's dream come true!  If you haven't seen my earlier posts, I've stepped down from almost half my teams because my DT plate has been full for awhile and I just need to strike a balance in my life.  I'll share my Hero Favs on Saturday, this post is already photo heavy.

That's it for me, remember to pop over to the Hero Arts blog for more details on my project!

SugarPea Designs News

Hello!  Today I'm up on the SugarPea Designs blog.  Did you see the newest Mix It Up Challenge?

I combined the sketch and the photo inspiration:

I'm in a Parisian state of mind!  Love the Parisian Holiday set.  That girl and her sweet beret are super cute!  I teamed her up with the ParisScape.

Everything is nestled onto a Postage Stamp panel.  I thought rather than just using one color for the background panel, I used two from the Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper Collection.

This is the week of Design Team News.  In case you missed it, I had another announcement HERE.  Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I consider myself super fortunate to be on some FABulous teams.  My plate has been full for a while and I need to change things up to strike a better balance in my life.  I've sadly stepped down from the SugarPea Designs blog.

I wanted to thank Wendy for this super opportunity.  I've truly enjoyed my time on the team and will miss my teamies!

I did want to share some of my favorite DT Projects:

Thanks soooo much for stopping by and I hope that you'll visit me on the SugarPea Designs blog!

Pinkfresh Studio News

Hello!  I'm up on the PinkFresh Studio Blog today with two projects.  Here's a peek at one of them:

This features the gorgeous Fleur I set.  Love those delicate blooms.  I've die cut the bouquet and stacked it up with black cardstock:

The sentiment is from the Word Series:  Believe.

This week I'll be sharing a ton of news, changes that I needed to make.  I've been so fortunate to be on some serious rockstar Design Teams.  My plate has been full for awhile.  I knew that things needed to change to strike a balance in my life.  I've sadly stepped down from the Pinkfresh Studio Design Team.

I wanted to thank Kinnari for the wonderful opportunity.  How lucky was I to be able to meet and work with her during the 2018 Creativation Show.

Reverse Confetti : For You

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I don't know about you but I'm a creature of habit.  I tend to stamp images on white cardstock and then die cut them out.  I decided to switch things up a bit:

Do you see what I did?  I decided that since my background was Reverse Confetti Lime Green that I would stamp all my blooms + stems from Blooms 'N Buds on Lime Green with Avocado ink.  The contrasting details have been stamped with Midnight.

If you've been following me for any amount of time, you'll know that my favorite color is green.  Lately I have been using purple/lavender so I knew that today I was going back to green.

I used one of my favorite tags, Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts.  It comes with the scallop bottom tag, the scallop circle to reinforce the tag on the top and the For You script.

My card was inspired by Sketch Saturday:
